This third book in the graphic novel series sets the stage for impending war between the Bone brother and Thorne and their enemies, Kingdok’s nasty rat creatures. Fans of the first two installments will not be disappointed by this collection. The art is first-rate and the storyline holds plenty of humor and tension as well as a surprising revelation. Comics enthusiasts will snatch this up as soon as it hits the shelves.

This is one of the great works of imaginative fiction of our time. There is just nothing like it. Yes, it looks goofy...it IS goofy. But there our depths in these swirling eddies. Fun and fulfilling. Should be required reading for 8th grade english. That would be an interesting world.

Presumably (haven't read #4-9 yet) the last book of the first act of the 9-issue Bone series, this is where the plot starts moving forward. The comicality of Phoney and Smiley is downplayed, and Thorn's story begins to shine through. By the end, you will be grasping for #4.

You don't have to like comics to like this series! If you like humor, if you like fantasy, if you like adventure, if you like surprising plot twists, you should read it. I can't say the Bone series is like anything else, because it's not. Just read it!

In Eyes of the Storm the actions starts to heat up... things I like: Fone Bone's Moby-Dick dream, the creepy yellow sky behind the rope bridge the Hooded One crosses, Gran'ma Ben's queenly reveal, and those stupid, stupid rat creatures.

Solid third installment of BONE. Some excellent laugh-out-loud moments. Somewhere I read that as BONE went on, it got darker and less humorous--If that's supposed to be the case yet, I haven't noticed. BONE keeps gettin' better!

Another excellent chapter in the Bone saga. Volume three finds everyone recovering from the attack in volume 2 (and also from the Great Cow Race), and Thorn learns more about her secret past.

I didn't realize this was the 3rd in the series and I was a little confused for the first half of the story. I am very curious to see how it continues in #4 though.

Okay, so THIS is the book where we really start getting into the "big picture" of the whole Bone saga, and it's a rocker.
