While I thought that the identity of Mr. Shadow was a bit too coincidental, nevertheless I enjoyed the story and especially the artwork, which reminds me of Chris Van Allsburg.

It was a good Halloween book. This isn't long like "The Invention of Hugo Cabret". This (and his other books) are super quick reads (like a few minutes).
