I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but I really enjoyed it. Really advocates getting to know your family history and culture through the usual methods and some more unusual ones such as visualization. I liked the section on having an ancestor altar in your house all the time instead of just at Dia De Los Muertos time. I'm a great fan of Denise Linn. This was the first book of hers that I read and it started me down a new path of understanding (once again) that we really are the ones in charge of how our lives unfold and able to release those old patterns or predispositions that seem to hold us from becoming everything we can be--in realizing all of our dreams are there ready for us to claim them.
