Well, for someone who has written some of the best stuff in the genre of crime comics this might seem a little wayward from his natural best. But, i must insist that this is indeed one of the better things written by Bendis. Plot has some similarities to his other works but the art is absolutely engrossing. a rare miss by Brian Michael Bendis....
Bendis can really write.
the Artwork is Fantastic, the story is so-so, and the characters are hard to identify with, but for a neo-noir cops and robbers comic it succeeds to pass time enjoyably.
Bendis' gritty crime writing meshed with glossy art. Perfect. Highlights include Spawn's cameo and the CSI body part discovery.
I really really really wish more of this serious would come to Graphic Novel!
