This story wasn't what I was hoping for when I purchased it. Thankfully, it was cheap, so I'm not too heartbroken over it. Live and learn, I always say. Well, I lived through this short story and here's what I learned: Sappho's Sisters's is pretty boring fare. Two-dimensional characters, a too-simple angst-free plot, and a mechanical writing style really didn't do anything for me except disappoint. I love historical romances. I love erotic historical romances best. While I like the idea of this book, I really really wish it would have been longer and we could have seen more detail about the characters. We only received a taste of who Eustacia and Margaret really were.

I have to say the fathers of our heroines intrigued me the most, and I would have liked getting to know a father who understands you can't chose the ones you love, because to me, a man like that during the Regency More...
