John Poetzel has developed a unique idea with surprises at every turn. Cheap Tequila has a good beginning, fun characters and a magical storyline. If you like figuring out connections between characters and the occurrence of strange events, you will enjoy this novel. The story is filled with color, life and magic, as a group of very different people head to the same destination. I thought this was a great book. Had a awesome set of colorful characters. The plot was very different then many I have read, was relate-able to life in some ways and highly abstract with a mystical twist as well. I really enjoyed it and found it easy to read!
