Beware of a bite under a full moon…
it will complicate your love life.

Celeste has more to worry about than a secret romance with a hot guy from the wrong side of town. That guy, Brandon, is a werewolf. With gossip and hostility swirling at school, it’s time to find a cure for his nocturnal condition, and perhaps the one person who can help is his scientist father. But what

My take: It's a sweet read for a romantic teenager who finds hairy teenagers attractive. There are no vampires in this book and Jacob Black does not playfully romp around. The werewolves are more human looking than a real wolf and seem to emanate pheromones, rendering the female species helplessly in love.

The plot is predictable and the characters are shallow. If your preteen or teen asks for a copy of this book for Christmas, get it. Besides some make-out scenes, the book is clean and the swee

A pretty sweet sequel, but more adorable than anything else! Not enough depth behind emotions and they kissed a lot with little passion. However, I read this book in under two hours and was very happy while reading it -- it's a nice, sweet, and light summer read :)

I can't wait to read it! I absolutely loved once in a fullmoon I hope Brandon and Celeste come out about their relationship! ;)

This is one more series I am going to give up on. It was hard enough to like Celeste in first book, but this one is worst. Her BFs were as shallow as any other "mean girls" clique. I get that Celeste cares about Nash (her 1st crush and boy friend - this bit is repeated so many times in the book it is ingrained in your brain for eternity), but why does she have to repeat that his romantic jesters came a little late and that if he did that when they were together, they would be still together. She ...more

Celeste has been dating Brandon, a werewolf. He is also a Westsiders while Celeste is an Eastsiders. Every time there is a full moon Brandon will transforms to a werewolf and it can be as dangerous as it seen. Celeste and Brandon have to hide their relationship from the entire town, whole school, and even from her best friends, until they find a cure for Brandon. The cure will help Brandon not to transform into a werewolf during full moon. Brandon's father Dr. Maddox came all the way from Europe ...more

Ellen Schreiber never disappointed me in vampire kisses series what would make her disappoint me in full moon series NOTHING, she is talented and have a huge imagination and she always stick to the original myth that's what makes her so special

Through out this story I've been in an emotional roller coaster I finished the story pretty fast and that's what makes it great, it is 229 pages which I consider short for a book , but nevertheless it was AMAZING! And He'll Yeah I recommend people to rea

Story would be pretty good if the main character wasn't so stupid. The writing could be better, Schreiber keeps repeating the same thing over and over. She treat the reader as if they are stupid. The story is "There" it just needs to be tweaked.

I loved the second book in this series, however i really wish the books were longer. the end of course leaves you hanging for a third book... i wanna know what happens now though. :(

Huh, found this to be a little better, well a lot better than the first book. Also love the cover. Girl reminds me of a young Emilie de Ravin. Anyway, this one found it to be not as annoying or eye rolling worthy. Found it at times to be even cute in a way. Yes its predictable, even one moment where I was like, huh hate being right? Why could that guess not be right book? Come on. And other moments where I was thinking, wait in the last book you said this and now in this you're feeling this way, ...more

* SPOILER ALERT*
This is the second novel by author Ellen Schreiber about Celeste and Brandon. Brandon is the boy from the wrong side of the tracks who happens to have stolen Tess' heart. Oh did I forget to mention the Brandon also happens to be a werewolf.

In the novel, Celeste is being blackmailed by her old crush Nash because he saw Brandon change into werewolf form and is threatening to tell everyone unless Celeste dates him. Celeste is going along with it for now because she doesn't want anyt

I fell in love with Once in a Full Moon, and was really looking forward to the sequel. Magic of the Moonlight was a great, easy read as well. It leaves off right where Once in a Full Moon ends. I really need to check out the Vampire Kisses series from Ms. Schreiber because I really love her writing!

A little warning… there are a few spoilers up ahead! Do not read if you don’t want to ruin the first book.
Okay so the ending of the first book was pretty big, because Nash, Celeste’s ex-boyfriend sees

When I read the first book last summer I loved it a lot. I was actually excited about the second one, but I took my time on getting it from the library. I was hoping to love this one too. When I finished this one, I was & am still really not sure what to rate this book as. I was going from a 3.5 to a 4. It was a quick read, short to no conflicts.

What I liked was that the book started right were the first one left off. Which I like in a book because it makes it less confusing & easier to

Perhaps I'm biased because Ellen Schreiber is one of my all-time favorite authors but I really liked this book. Her stories are always light-hearted but filled with adventure at every turn. She did a great job creating the world of werewolves in the Full Moon series just like she did in the Vampire Kisses series.

This book wasn't as great as the first one though, at times it felt like it was dragging on and had a lot of repetition. One of Celeste's best friends Ivy really got on my nerves at sev

The Full Moon series is a lighthearted and fun series that makes for a great paranormal romance, and this installment lives up to the hype.

Again, Magic of the Moonlight is simply fun that is clean and lighthearted. I recommend this series to all readers, especially tweens and teens. They're short and sweet, and I know exactly what to expect from Ellen Schreiber and her works: lots of brilliant paranormal romance and tons of fun.

Celeste finally grew a backbone in this novel. I have to admit tha

In Magic of the Moonlight, Celeste struggles with wanting to have a relationship she doesn't have to hide and wanting to protect Brandon and his werewolf secret. It's made even harder with Nash fighting to win her back. Ellen Schreiber has created a story that's just as compelling as her nocturnal werewolves.

I'm going to be completely honest and say that I like Ellen's Full Moon series better than her Vampire Kisses series. There's someth

Recommended with Caution[return][return]This is the second book in the Full Moon trilogy. There is a lot of lunch room angst in this book. Celeste is keeping Brandon a secret from her friends. Ivy and Abby are working really hard to get her back together with Nash. Nash is blackmailing Brandon and Celeste because he saw Brandon’s transformation into a werewolf. Celeste insists on punishing herself and goes back to the psychic for a reading. Every time she goes for a reading, it’s more bad news. ...more

Source: I owned a copy of this book before I donated it to the library.

Note: These are my personal opinions. I received no outside person comments or opinions.

This book was a joke. No, really, it was.

I gave up on this book. I couldn't even finish it.

The characters problems didn't interest me at all. I couldn't get entangled in the high school drama.

Nash has found out Brandon's secret and proceeds to blackmail Celeste with the information, in exchange for not telling anybody that Brandon is a werewolf he has Celeste pretend that they are dating again, he tells her that he's protecting her because Brandon is dangerous, but that's not the case and Celeste wants nothing more than to let her friends and everyone else know that she an

I really like this cute and entertaining series by Ellen Schreiber. The first book left off with Celeste's ex- boyfriend Nash finding out her new boyfriend Brandon's secret. Brandon is a werewolf. In "Magic of the Moonlight", the story takes up right where the first installment left off. Celeste and Brandon have to deal with the consequences to Nash knowing the big secret. Nash is prepared to use it as a bargaining chip. Celeste needs to start dating him again or he will out Brandon to the entir ...more
