Interesting memoir of crabbing in Alaska's Bering Sea (and points south), supplemented with stories of others lucky and not-so-lucky. Upton describes his experiences clearly and simply, weaving a narrative around the monotony and routine, magnificent natural surroundings, colorful companions, and occasional danger.
