Shane never expected to do what no other Leopard shifter had done before: fall in love. There was no denying it, though, because from the first touch of a certain Panther named Trevor, Shane lost his heart to the other man. Then just as Shane found his mate and true happiness, Trevor was brutally torn from him when a Cobra shifter, bent on revenge, captures the Panther. No ...more

The story was to short and to fast, and actually it could have been put in book 9, but hey why would the author who wants more money do that, no way. Smarter is to milk people for money even if the story is not worth it. I don't recommend the purchase, rather wait and get it by other means.

One of the best new series out. Lost Shifters blends action with romance and erotica very well. I can't wait to see how thing play out with Trevor and Shane!

I hate to take a break from the series because I was on shifter overload. Just finished the book and I must say it's one of my favorites in the series mainly because of Shane's transformation. I get why everyone was turned of of Riley too but things will work out I'm sure. I liked the addition of Dalton too, way too cute.

After the awesome cliffhanger in the last book, I had high hopes for this one and couldn't help but feel disappointed. I was surprised that the story opened with a chapter all about Dalton and I couldn't remember if we had been introduced to him before so it was a little distracting. When we finally got to Shane and Trevor, I settled in to read about all the good stuff but then it switched to Riley and Colin. I must admit that I'm not happy with Riley's behavior either. He was bemoaning the fact ...more

I am giving this one star because I honestly can’t rate it with anything higher since it’s a book I wish I hadn’t read.

I was really looking forward to the continuation of Trevor and Shane’s story but it was pretty short and most of it was spent on the reader getting to know new characters, it lacked any real Trevor-Shane time together which was my favourite part of the previous one. (view spoiler)

Awww Shane and Trevor - happily ever after. Not as strong as I had hoped, but still a decent read.

Very disappointing. After reading The Assasin's Touch, which I loved for the record, I was going nuts to read this one because of the cliffhanger. And then...blech. This one shouldn't have been it's own book in any way. The resolution to Shane and Trevor was maybe *maybe* one-third of this story. The rest was spent on other characters. (view spoiler) ...more

I give shane and trevor's story almost 4 stars because i loved them even though they didnt have a lot of screen time in this book. This had 3 other points of views and that just upsets me.... It's supposed to be shane and trevors book. I feel like Ms. Hecht could have just left shane and trevor's remaining pages in the lastbook instead of extending it with this....

As promised, I jumped immediately into this tenth installment of the 'Lost Shifters' series since the author did a once in a lifetime back-to-back books involving the same couple, Shane and Trevor, who also are my new favorites. At the end of the previous book, the cobra shifter, Orion, whom Shane has been hunting for several months, attacked and kidnapped Trevor. Since it happened on the same day that Shane and Trevor mated and said "I love you" for the first time, it was really bad timing on O ...more

Bummer. I ran head-long into this book after the cliff-hanger in An Assassin's Touch because I couldn't wait to read about Shane's FURY! Well, I was a little disappointed. Why?

First, too much real estate was spent on alternate characters. For example, we are introduced to Dalton, whom I really liked. He was cute and his hero-worship of Shane was understandable but it detracted from Shane's FURY, which irritated me.

Second, Colin and Riley. I can see setting up for a seq

I'm not sure what to think - The Lost Shifters is one of my favorite series. I was looking forward to a satisfying conclusion to the Shane and Trevor story and it didn't quite get there for me.

I so wanted more of the leopard and his panther and for most of this book they were apart. I know some of that was to be expected just due to the storyline, but... It could have been good hurt/comfort, except the comfort really occured off page ("Even though it had been a full month since he'd been rescue

Another good book starring my favorite Shifter, Shane. In this book, Shane has been searching for his mate, Trevor, who was kidnapped at the end of the last book. This book definitely did not adhere to the formulas of the last books in the series and was more a continuation of An Assassin's Touch. While this book developed Shane and Trevor's relationship more, it also served to introduce a lot of new characters to include Dalton, a rare lynx shifter, who was being held with Trevor by a nasty Cob ...more

Ok I'm not going to post a review. The ones previous do a nice job conveying my feelings toward this book. I am however going to go on a small rant about the word MEMORIES! In the first few books in this series the spelling and grammar were atrocious! What stuck out to me the most was how the author spelled the word memories, "memoires"
She must have gotten a better spell checker for the last few, but now in Shane's Fury, she is back to spelling it wrong! I don't know why this bugs me so much, bu

2014 Re-read:

Ugh.

I think the change in Shane is the biggest disappointment.
He lost a lot of his uniqueness. Part of what made him so interesting was his complete lack of understanding for social norms and behaviours. Here he quips with the rest of them, keeps comparing things to normality and verbally expresses his emotions like any other of the author’s characters. His repressed, cold speech patterns are completely gone, together with the confusion he used to show about what upset people about

I'm giving this a 4.5 stars.

This is the continuation of the last book and the story bring us with Shane killing a group a snake, yum. We also meet a new character name Dalton who is a lynx shifter and they are equally rare as the eagle shifter. Dalton imprinted on Shane because he know that he will protect him because he heard from Trevor, when they were held captive, that he will come and find him so he thought so as well. With that in mind Shane look for his mate until final he gets a lead and

I put off reading this for a long time because I knew it would be difficult. It is part 2 of the last book, where Trevor, psycho leopard Shane's mate was kidnapped by the cobra bad guy. Shane's going insane trying to find him. This however combines a couple of other stories, or beginnings of such. Riley is an eagle shifter, probably the only one in the world, and he is afraid of heights and is under hawk Colin's tutelage. It seems all Colin does is yell at him and tell him how shitty he is. Shane is one shifter that I don't see getting beat, he is just to bad-ass for that. I have never thought of him as someone with no feelings, like how everyone always made him out to be, so I am glad that his books showed just how much he does feel. I have to say that he is one of my Faves out of this series.

Though what I didn't like was how they put Shane's and Trevor story in to parts, it didn't have to be that way cos it's not like Shane's fury was the whole book, cos as teh book goes it alwa

I really love the shifter series as whole but this book I found to be a big let down. It's really two stories - the end of the last book and the start of the next book and does not work as a stand alone book. I really enjoyed Trevor and Shane's story and had this already to go on my kindle for when I finished the last book and was really looking forward to this so I was disappointed that it firstly isn't totally focused on them and the parts that are focused on them just felt watered down. I do wish there had been more of Shane and Trevor in this book but this was more about the rescue so understandable. The story bounced around a lot which made it feel even shorter. I didn't have a problem with Riley like others had. I think he had a lot of the same issues as Trevor and with Colin not even trying with him he was just seeking out a place of belonging. It may sound stupid and weak to some but with Riley's character it is understandable. I do hope it all works out for him and Colin. ...more

It was supposed to be the sequel to An Assassin's Touch, you know. And as a sequel you expect it to develop the characters and their relationship. To focus on them.
But no. Like there wasn't enough characters already, the beginning is all about someone else.

And you have a lot of passages with other couples. Sigh. I mean, I didn't buy this bought to read about others. I bought it to read about Shane and Trevor and this freaking Cobra.

It feels like nothing is ever finished and the series is about

Stephani Hecht is a terrible writer. I don't feel like pulling any punches here, because to do otherwise would be a disservice to my fellow readers. These books are awful, but have their own compelling pull. I wanted to carry on to see what happened next, even though the writing was making me insane, the characters were all the same, and the sex was becoming incredibly redundant. It wasn't until I got to the third book based on Shane (seriously, again?), that I finally hit a wall and couldn't re ...more

Shane's looking for Trevor. During that time he kills other nests of snakes. At one he finds Dalton, a lynx shifter who idolizes Shane after being held captive in the cage next to Trevor and hearing him Talk about how great he is. Riley the eagle gets tired of Colin, & has some fun with twins that everybody watches, driving Colin crazy. Of course, in the end, Shane finds Trevor & kills Orion. They buy the house next to Kevin & Jared.

I agree with other reviewers who said the part of this with Shane and Trevor could better have been included in An Assassin's Touch. Too many disjointed stories means must have needed volume (i.e. word count) to publish this. So many of the other "chapters" were ever so much better!

This was a great conclusion to the storyline started in An Assassin's Touch . Shane is determined to get Trevor back and Trevor is sure Shane is going to rescue him. But Orion really is a sadistic SOB and he goal is make them both suffer. There is a bit info about Riley and I'm hoping we'll be getting his story soon.

Cute story. I read this out of order (I've only read book 1), so probably didn't get the full impact of the storyline... The big rescue was pretty anticlimatic and there seemed as inordinate focus on some of the shifters being very 'easy'. I would have thought this was part of their nature and not something to be frowned upon - but as I noted, I've only read the first book, so could be missing a key development...

Book 10 and the resolution of Shane and Trevor's story from book 9. Another pretty dark plotline - themes of abuse.
Shane is one of my favourite characters; I also really like Trevor, so I pretty much devoured both book 9 and this one. It was an interesting story and I loved seeing the characters evolve.
