This is the perfect book for adjectives. There are lots of adjectives in the book and many of them have special features that make them stand out. For example the word dirty looks like it is actually dirty and the word round is kind of rounded. It also has sound effect words.

This is a cute book animals in the jungle. It's a fast read, although our two-year-old niece was not at all familiar with many of the animals and quickly lost interest. Still, after a lot of repetition, I am sure that it could easily become a favorite book among the toddler set.

We discovered this book in the board book section of our local library and I enjoyed perusing the myriad tales - I haven't read board books in quite a while.

William likes this series that focuses on animals. Asks to hear them whenever we take one home. He especially likes big cats, though he usually calls all of then lions or tigers.

A good solid photo book, which is especially appealing to Lu at 14 months. The jungle theme was nice to prove a little variety in our animal books.

Cute book, just some difficult words for small readers, but if you want to introduce a complex vocabulary to your child then this book has some great words like wallowing.
