The best part of this book is a section on using OMT (Osteopathic Manipulation, or a type of massage) to treat ear and respiratory infections. It involves massaging parts of the face and body to release pressure and fluids. I've tried it on myself and Lucas (6 month old) and it works great when you are feeling congested, as well.
I'm not 100% against using antibiotics (neither is Dr. Block, she says they do have their place), but they are totally over used, and often not even necessary...more

Respecting this author's other work, No More Ritalin, and her reasonable approach, I find myself interested in this book as well.
