Aşk Hep Vardı-Sandra Brown

Texas! Serisinin 4.kitaptan oluşuyor.

1. Texas! Lucky (1990) (Yarınlar İçin) 5/3,85

4. The Texas! Trilogy (omnibus) (1992) 5/4,15

İlk üç kitapta Tyler Kardeşlerin hikayeleri olduğu bu seri goodreadsta iyi puan almış olduğunu görüyorum..
Yarınlar içinde Tyler Kardeşlerden Lucky'nin hikayesi vardı..Ağabeyi Chase'in hikayesini okuduğum ikinci hikayenin kurgusu daha güzeldi....Duygu yoğunluğunu güzel vermiş...more

Sage Tyler cannot believe it- dumped! By the mama’s boy she’d invested time and energy into making her husband. And to make things worse? In front of the arrogant shiftless, cowboy sent by her brothers to pick her up for the birth of her nephew.

The only thing she’s ever wanted was for her brothers to see her as a mature woman able to contribute to the family business, now she has to face them with this- a failed relationship?

Harlan Boyd, recently hired by Tyler Drilling, has a difficult...more

This is the first narration we’ve heard by Actors Studio member Coleen Marlo, and it’s prime listening as she captures the voice of our plucky heroine Sage Tyler. Marlo is an accomplished actress and knows not to imbue these characters with outre Texas accents but delivers her reading with subtle permutations of the sounds of the Lone Star State.

With TEXAS! SAGE, the final offering in the Tyler family trilogy thye focus is on Sage, a smart gal with an MBA from the University of Texas. Yes, she...more

The first and only book that I read in the Texas series was Texas! Chase back in 1996. I forgot that the Texas! series consist of 3 books, and now I am able to find back the Texas! Sage, I will definitely reread back Texas! Chase and try to read Texas! Lucky.

Sage is the youngest in the family, having 2 older brothers, Chase & Lucky who always viewed her as their kid sister. But, she is now a woman, just got dumped by her fiancee, and has to prove to her brothers that she is a Tyler over and over.

I love the book b...more

I received this book as a gift during one of the giveaways on author's FB page.

Sage is the third book in the Texas! series. A story of the youngest Tyler child and the only girl in the family. It starts with her fiance telling Sage that he's too tired of being with her and posting a newspaper story that he's marrying another woman several days after their break up. Unfortunately, when they were having a moment, they also had audience... And it didn't bode well for Harlan who overherd their discu...more

While I did think that Sage was a brat for the first part of the book, I was happy to see that she didn't stay that way. For some reason Sage seemed to have a big chip on her shoulder, one that made her think that she didn't live up to her family's standard. I am not sure why she thought that.

I liked Harlan from the start, his country bumpkin ways had me laughing at times. I had a feeling that I knew what was going on with his past and loved how Sage kept trying to weasel info out of him.

The first two books of this trilogy were about the brothers of the Tyler family. This last one is about their younger sister, Sage.

The basic plot is very similar to the first two. It does have a neat twist at the end that surprised me.

I do feel that the author went overboard on the sex in this one. It's fun to read a sexy trashy novel, but it can be overdone. Perhaps because I read all three in a row, I just got sick of the very explicit sexual descriptions. I think if I had spaced them out I mi...more

This is a typical romance set in northeast Texas. Sage Tyler is jilted by her fiance, and a her brothers have sent Harlan Boyd, a gorgeous stranger to bring her home for the birth of her brother's child. Harlan is a drifter not the kind of man Sage wants to be tied up with. However, she is drawn to him and him to her like a moth to a flame. Her brothers are trying to make a go of the family business, and she decides she needs to be something more than the little sister and puts forth an offer to...more

This story is the third in a series of three. At first I'll be frank; Sage was a bit on the whinny side and really didn't step up when she hit adversity. She's at the critical stage of having just obtained her master’s degree and her life plans blew up. Well Sage really starts showing her grit in the last third of the book, which I'm grateful for. Now the antagonist was Harlan Boyd, sexy drifter, troubleshooter and from the start sparks fly between these two. Unlike the first 2 in the series the...more

Texas Sage is the third story in the Texas Trilogy that follows the love lives of Sage and her brothers Lucky and Chase. I read this one first not realizing it was the last in the series but it turned out to be my favorite. Sage is the youngest of the Tyler clan and is trying to show her brothers she is no longer a little girl but a woman who wants to work for the family business, Tyler Drilling. At the same time, she is getting over a jilted love and feelings for the newest Tyler Drilling emplo...more

I read and loved all 3 of the books in this trilogy. I wanted to go on reading about this family, and kept thinking about them long past turning the last page. Definately the sign of a good book, and the type of response that makes me want to pick up more by the author. I've read pleanty of Sandra Brown's and I love her books. I listened to one (Texas! Chase) on CD and my thoughts are still coming with a Texas accent. If you love a good love story about close knit families, these books hit the t...more

This might have been my favorite of the Texas! series. I started it on audio then realized that when I checked it from the online library I only got 3 of the disks! Since it was already returned I grabbed the print version and finished it. I think it is one of those books that is good in both audio and print formats. I think I might even listen to the rest of it once it is available at the library again. Great series. Fantastic characters.

The last of the trilogy I think I liked it the best. Sage is great and I've loved her spark since Texas Chase. I think about the only person that could handle her is exactly who Brown created and did just a perfect job of it. Very fun to watch Sage lose the battle of love. The brother's were great and brought back some fond memories of family standing up for one another and protecting each other. Boy I miss my Texas family!
Lisa
Well Sage held up to the traditions set by her older brothers. The story was fast-paced, humorous, and of course with romance thrown in. It was fun to listen to Marci and Devon put the two overbearing brothers (Chase and Lucky) in their places about their sister. These stories in parts reminded me of times with my Dad's family.

The more I read or listen to Sandra Brown's work, the more I enjoy her writing style.

I just cant get enough of Sandra Brown books. I read them one after another.

This one was really good.

And when i think about Sage and Harlan i smile every time.

And the book had the perfect end - just the way i like it. The perfect end of one amazing story.

I just love Sandra Brown writing style and everything else.

I'll review the book better later, now i want to read more of Sandra books.......

This was the first novel I'd read that fits under romance.
And with that said, I thought it was good. I liked the drama.

I like the homely Texas family feel the author paints with Sage's family.
I thought at first that Harlan was the cool/bad-boy/attractive/mysterious character at first.
And he keeps showing himself to be a good guy, buuuuut
I thought that he faced the end dilemma with a very childish attitude.

3-3.5* Not as good as the first two Texas! books, but still fun. And I'm so glad that Sandra Brown had the whole Tyler family playing significant roles in all three books. It was good to see Chase and Lucky and their families again. Sage never appealed to me as much as her brothers because she was such a mouthy brat, but I appreciated her more as the book progressed. I thought she matured and grew through it all and I really liked her by the end.
Dawn
Third book in the series. The youngest sibling of the family is a girl named Sage. She has always been in competition with her older brothers and does not feel like she has a place in the family anymore. Harlan is the oil company's hired engineer with a secret past. There were some really good parts to this book, but I had a hard time liking Sage...till the end.

WOW, I so myself a man like Harlan!! Yum is the only way I can think of him, and I always a budding romance that has "conflicting" personalities and a continuous tug of war of what they should do. A GREAT end to the series. I want to read romance from Ms Brown, up to this point I have been into her suspense books instead. AHHHH, I am satisfied after this story.
Iuliana
I read these years ago as a teenager, just out of curiosity really. I have no recollection of story, characters etc, but i do remember thinking they were utter tripe. Haven't read any of her other books and have no intention of ever doing so again.
Alison
Sage is a brat for most of the novel, but she finally comes out of it. I didn't really like her until up until that point. Loved Harlan though. He made me smile. He was funny and sexy and didn't put up with Sage's crap. That alone made me love him.

But I did love the story.
Annette
I'm not exactly sure why I read this book since neither Texas or romance novels are to my liking. However, it seemed to get good reviews so I gave it a try. Not worth it. Maybe it is just me but it was very sappy and predictable. If I read Harlan calling Sage "baby" one more time I was going to scream! Found myself skipping pages at a time just to get through it.
Lori
Texas Lucky, Texas Chase, and Texas Sage were in one book Texas Trilogy. Loved the entire Tyler family, great drama, and actually caught myself laughing out loud at times.
Dana
I have to say this is the best of the three books, I couldn't put it down. I loved it. Best romance book I have ever read that wasn't too graphic. Awesome book.
Carol Macdowell
I enjoyed this romance set in Texas. Quick read laced with conflict and humour. No matter which other authors I read, Sandra Brown is at the top of my list.
Anand
I loved this book, this is part 3 and i enjoyed it the most, again, sandra keeps you turning the pages, don't read much romance books, but this was good

Loved this addition to the series. The little sister wants to make a contribution to the family business--Tyler drilling. Her brothers trust the handsome interloper more than her.
Kathy
This book, like the first two in the series, has some parts that just stop me cold because they're so unbelievable. It's actually a pretty good story, but Harlan blurting out "she might be carrying my baby" before there is ANY hint or indication that she actually is, is so unreal, it just stopped me in my tracks. NO man would ever do that! This series was the first I've read of Sandra Brown. Do all her books have a part where you just stop and go "not really...no...never" ?

Apalagi komentar-komentar konyol mere...more

Last of the trilogy. This one is about the little sister. Not as good as the first two, but still a good, brainless beach read.
