AMAZING book!! What can I say? Where other authors decline with each book, Jordan Dane is getting better and better! I just couldn't put this book down! Although each of the protagonists had their own story going on, it was easy to keep track and I really liked the way Dane alternated between each story and how each character's story "meshed" together seamlessly. Her writing makes you feel like you're in on the action and are feeling the protagonist's emotions as if they were your own. Her writi ...more

PROTAGONIST: Alexa Marlowe, agent
SERIES: #4 of 4
RATING: 3.25
WHY: Alexa Marlowe is an agent with Sentinels, an elite vigilante organization. The head, Garrett Wheeler, is reported dead. She doesn't believe it and goes on a dangerous mission to determine what is going on. At the same time her partner, Jessie, an ex bounty hunter, takes a personal leave to settle traumatic events from her childhood. This is really 2 stories in one book. And therein lies the problem - they really didn't connect or r

I love the way she has let you get to know all the characters so well in her different books. There are romantic bonds in some of the characters but it is not a romance. It more like an espionage type book.

The Sentinels are a covert group that goes out and takes care of various things. In this book a former member sets up a mission on his own and the Sentinals get pulled into it.

Another member finds out more about her past.

Great read, love the sweet justice series.

I loved this story.

with the suspense and the two different stories going it could have easily been confusing trying to keep track of the stories but Jordan does an excellent job describing them and pulling you into the story. it grips you and doesn't let you go till its finished. I can't wait to read the next one.

Great read. It was fast paced and the action was non-stop. Alexa's tension with Garrett was almost weird especially when you find out that she has feelings for Kinkaid. I personally wanted to punch Cook in the nose, but it's all good. I would recommend this book and I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

The way Jordan brought up the story was really interesting. This story displays love, revenge, care, good friendship, loyalty, greed, power and etc. The way the two stories being written also very interesting and makes you want to read more and more.

This book was written in 2011 and it left you thinking there could be more in this series, but 4 yrs on, I wonder if that's the case. I hope there are more in this series.
