I do not agree with this author. The book is very well-written and thought-provoking. Nord believes that public schools and universities should teach religious studies, and incorporate religion into all classes: science, politics, history, literature, etc. He says students are religiously illiterate and that in their current state they cannot truly understand history, literature, science etc. and cannot understand the way the world really works. I reviewed another similar book to this one by Nord and Haynes called "Taking Religion Seriously Across the Curriculum." This was required reading for a seminar in educational values class I took. This book is propaganda, and is full of logical fallacies repeated ad nauseum. Beyond that, Nord completely misrepresents scientific evidence, the domain of science, and nature of scientific work. I'm disgusted I had to pay to read this book.
