Gentle Reader:
You, sir, are an anarchist, and Miss Manners is frightened to have anything to do with you.
Miss Manners

This review is predicated on the assumption that you already have in your possession an up-to-date copy of Miss Manners' Guide to Excruciatingly Correct Behavior, the sine qua non of civilized people everywhere. Should this not be the case, then get out there, buy one, and study it! Only when you have truly assimilated the wisdom therein should you even think about etiquette

Recommends it for: people with sick humor and short attention spans
I got this from a book reviewer. They left the Harper Collins query letter inside. The headline asks, "Do you tip a hooker?" 'Nuff said. This is an etiquette book covering situations like porn sets, AA meetings, bondage sessions, jail, bars and tattoo parlors. The subject matter is well-chosen, although there may be just a few too many one-liners. Recommends it for: Outlaws or wanna-be outlaws
Wow, if you ever needed to know how much to tip your tattoo artist; how to behave like a gentleman in a gentlemans' club; and the etiquette of 12-step meetings (i.e. no 13th stepping -- hitting on members of the opposite sex), this book is for you! Even if none of these scenarios applies to you, you will roll on the floor laughing if you have any bad girl/bad boy streak in you. Not to be missed is the section on how to respond to vegetarians trying to convert you. Example (paraphrased):

A good concept for a book, but only did a fair job at it.
Hip, funny, cool, and of course, informative. This book was put out before this kind of thing was cool and omni-present, Howard Stern loved it and magazines printed re-written (sans permission) snippets. While the information is well-researched and actually true, the tone-of-voice should be taken with a grain of salt - learn and laugh.
It doesn't hurt that I'm mentioned in the "thank you" section. :)
This book was super fun! And although I consider myself "an outlaw"...LOL, I did learn a few things from this book, and others I just wanted to photocopy and hand out to some of my friends.
now i know the etiquette for tipping a stipper and how to smoke "cool"! this book was a riot, so funny and stragely helpful at the same time...
