I don't have a lot to say about this considering it was less than 30 pages but it was enough to get me interested in continuing the series so it did it's job as a free short prequel!
sometimes words can't be enough... just wow
What an evocative start to the series.

This short is set in historical times and the series in modern, but this doesn't detract at all.

Jade becomes a succubus, a minion of Demon Lord Kane when her lover, Luna a sorcerer, loses her in a bet.

This is Jade's first time as a succubus and it doesn't end happily.

A great set up for the rest of the series of Shadowfae.
So we meet 3 people in this novella. Kane, indiyo and jade. This collection of words was exactly that. See jade cry. See Kane smirk. See jade fuck. See jade cry. See Kane smirk. The end.

The rest of the series will be thrilling if it keeps up with this short introduction. Definitely worth checking out the 1st book proper in the series :)
It was a very short short I feel weird giving it 3 stars but it was nice to know where it all started.Overall, it was a good read.

I would give this 3 1/2 stars
It was good to see how it all started. It was short and it left me wanting more.
As a prequel to the series, it makes me want to read the rest of the series.
Más de lo mismo.... en serio, esta saga no mejora
