The Joshua Files: Book 4
Dark Parallel (Joshua Files)
by M. G. Harris

Blurb
Josh and Ixchel have travelled back in time, but it might not be so easy to get home again. They've landed in the Mayan era, when the prophecy about the world ending in 2012 was first foretold. And they cannot believe who they have found there. Clearly Josh isn't the only person to have cracked the secret of time travel.

This book carries on with the fast paced other books in the series. It was an edge of the seat can'

Setelah absen berbulan-bulan baca lanjutan Joshua Files, akhirnya perburuan saya berbuah hasil-nemu seri ke-4 nya.

Chemistry Josh dan Ixchel sejak buku pertama sudah kuat, and I was hoping they can made it and finally they really can make it work in Dark Parallel. But, at least M.G. Harris benar-benar memberikan ...more

...more

Wow Baca buku ini ibaratnya lagi nonton film science fiction tapi berbalut aksi ala Indiana Jones .

Gilaaa gue suka banget sama penjelajahan waktunya disini . Walau agak bingung dikit tapi agak lebih logis dari time travel di Time Riders .

okeelah .. aku siap buat Final Booknya ..

Start to get even more confusing. I guess that phrase is true "do not mess with time". because really, the paradoxxxxxxx..... is never ending looooooppppp. Damn Harris, there's so many whyyyy there.... If he **** in that time period why josh and itxhel able to go that different future where he succeeded. You (writer) mess with time paradox and now look where it ended.

But I guess thats where the thrill is. there's so many probabilities that a writer can create with this parallel world. Although

Sangat disayangkan

The Bahasa version book cover looks more catchy than what i saw in this page. Jason came back to the past where Mayan era was recognized to be existed in Mexico. One assumption which is used by the author in this book is: you cannot change history in past instead of driven it to another verse (hence we knew it as a 'parallel'). No one know something about that assumption. Anyway, i enjoyed the adventure which presented by this book. Harris could tell what is Jason feeling towards Ixchel as per e ...more

The series calms down considerably in this volume compared to the first three. There are a few action scenes but not as many or as long. This gives the reader time to think about things. It also allows Joshua's relationship with Ischel to develop. In fact, this gook borders at times on being a teen romance book more than an adventure book. But the time travel aspect gets much more complex and paradoxical so there is a lot more to think about than the romance.

this book is too ordinary. contrary with the other which had 'surprise' element...this book is just plain. even in the end there story about someone died which makes me remember with the way of voldemort died. just like "point your finger and he will be die". lol

book #2 and #3 is alot better than this one.

I was surprised at how utterly AMAZING this installment of the Joshua Files was. Whilst at some points you really had to focus because of time-travel explanations, at others you can hardly part with the book - so gripping! If you found the JF slow to start with, missing this would be a crime. Must read!

This is a great book with loads of action and adventure. Everything was understandable except sometimes they kind of left stuff out, like why Vigores left Ek Naab, etc. I'm hoping for many more books in this series!

Pengennya sih kasih bintang 5.. Turun deh satu bintang.
