Between the cheesy cover and the uninspired titles, this series really shouldn't be of any interest to me. But I absolutely LOVED Eden Maguire's Beautiful Dead series, and the first book in this new trilogy, Dark Angel, surprised me by keeping my attention through to the end. This second book in the trilogy starts off with a much more powerful bang, and keeps with the intense action and emotion that I expect from such a great author.

Well this was a little better than the first one but not by much. I just felt like I was rereading the first book with a few twists and changes. I am starting to get a little irritated with the fact that the novels are pretty much predictable from the word go. as soon as the mention of highly good looking blokes had come into the novel you knew exactly who they were and what it was that they were after. I was a little disappointed by the book. The story was almost a mirror as many other reviewers have said of the first book.
I don't feel Grace grew as a character and Orlando is bloody annoying and unlikable as her boyfriend. It had a lot of premise I felt and I did like the twists even if some where predictable.
I will be waiting for book 3 as I do like Eden Maguire's style of writing I just hope we see character development and maybe find out some new things as we see a new location.

This book is all kind of amazing.
i mean i actually thought jarold was a really nice ,but to find that he was one of the dark side it left me broken hearted,i think my soul shattered when i realized this it was just tooo depressing to watch

To be honest, I didn't finish the book. I read a few chapters and found it seriously boring. It wasn't any better than the first book. I tried reading different parts of the book to see if it got better but it didn't. So I gave up on reading it.
I was quite disappointed with this book. The previous novel, dark angel, was good enough to keep my attention until the end but I gave up on twisted heart. It is a good idea but just did not live up to my expectations.
Great book, full of twists and turns, i kept thinking i knew who the dark angel was but ended being proved wrong each time. Can't wait for the next book :D
I really did try my hardest to finish the book but after half way I could't take it anymore it was BORING. Don't get me worng I usually give books a chance until the very end but it lost my interest and got a bit confusing at times.

Was like she ran out of imagination from the first - doubt I will read the next - quite disappointing as loved the beautiful dead books.
I didnt enjoy this as much as the first one, only because the story was very similar and i feel the location should have changed but i really enjoy Maguire's way of writing. Short, sharp burst of story without filler or crap to weigh it down. And the twist was a good one. Im looking forward to seeing what happens next time. 5/5
This is the exact same story as the first book! It took me ages to read because I was so bored. There were so many obvious mistakes and even a continuity error which really annoyed me. Also I can not stand Orlando.
Although I enjoyed the book it was too similar to Dark Angel and therefore a little laborious. the excerpt from the next books looks promising with a different location :D
