Healed by Fire picks up 100 years later from where the story left off in Kiss of a Star. I love the characters and this story.

Artemis is living with a witch coven and is friends with Draco Blue, the king of the dragons. She believes her name is Chandra and she has no memory of her past. One day on a trip to the store Chandra meets a handsome young man that seems to know her. She does not know him but she feels like she does. He turns out the be her werewolf mate Ares. Along with the help of the

Again, we are left with a cliffhanger. I do wish like others it was longer however I still enjoyed it

Loved it!! I'm so addicted to his series!! I can't wait for the 4th book to finally be released. I hate having such a cliff hangar at the end and having to wait forever to read the next book!

Catherine does a great job keeping the story of Artemis alive and throwing in various curve balls. I was on the edge of my seat during certain parts. My roommates even laughed at me because I was talking to myself... well talking to the book as I was reading! If you enjoy fantasy, I highly suggest this serie

I was so happy when this book came out (you might remember the über happy post I posted). It cooled down pretty fast. Maybe it came because of the high expectations I had, since the other two book were so great. But I didn’t like this one as much as I thought I would. I didn’t get swept from my feet while reading the story…

It’s still a nice story to read, but as you can understand I expected more, much more. I’m not exactly fond of first-person view

How can you not love Catherine Banks' Artemis Lupine series? The answer is you can't! It's fascinating and too hard to put down. When I picked up this book I knew full well that I had better put everything else on the back burner until this book had been read in it's entirety because that's how much Banks' writing will consume you. I read all three of these books in her series back to back and despite loving them each so much I was worried I would grow tired of the characters and plot lines by t ...more

3rd verse, same as the first:

I've said it once and I'll say it again; This book is progressing way too freaking fast! The readers should get the opportunity to savor each major event as it happens. This should not progress instantaneously only to immediately move on to the next "Oh so heart-stopping" moment.

I'll admit that Catherine did a notably better job with this towards the end of this book, but still the beginning was so instantaneous that each random event gave me mental whiplash and m

Books starts after hundred years of vampire war. Ares finds artemis but could he bring her back. Achilles again missed his chance to Artemis. New entities were added and I loved every single one. The twist was little odd but it was OK . cliffhangers are good incentives to start the next book immediately.

ok so rating this one was a little hard for me. I really like all the characters and and the story line so I want to rate this four stars, but the writing could use a little work. It just seemed there were some parts that were rushed. I mean this book is only like 150 pages long so some parts could have easily been given more detail making this a more rounded story. Overall I've been really enjoying the Artemis Lupine and I can't wait for the next one.

I'm disappointed on how short this 3rd book is. I felt that there was too much rambling going on and to cut it short was disappointing. I felt that the book was rushed and then to make the fans wait til 2013 for the the next book is just not fair. I am a fan of the series and I was just hoping for more.
