So it's crunch time now. Lesley and Mo reach the age when they have to be paired off. But, OMG! The council throws a big gigantic monkey wrench into Lesley and Mo's relationship. Well that was unexpected! :0

In the second book, more is revealed about the inner workings of Rymellan society, spotlighting on what they refer to as 'capital violations'.

My initial impression (from Book 1) of the government that rules Rymel is that of an Orwellian big brother with eyes and ears everywhere and hands dip

I am enjoying in this series but this second book wasn't as great as the first. The Rymellan rules state that those who select the chosen know what they are doing. So why oh why have we spent the time fighting the 'force?' I like the main characters so I am glad they didn't go to their deaths. But, seriously, other couples must have just as much trouble learning to love their chosen. In fact, the parents of our MCs seemed to love each other. So the sooner they adjust the better.
