Usually the thugs in the books are male. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that the females in Street Divas were not only backing up their male counterparts, they were pretty much holding their own as well. Although at times I thought the criminal element in the story was a little over the top, the points made were key to the tale that unfolds. There's a gangwar going on in Memphis, TN, which pits brother against brother and surprisingly, sister against sister. Even the police are two f ...more

Street Divas picks right back up where Hustlin' Divas left off. Python and Mason are still at it and Officer Melanie Johnson is caught up in the showdown. From the first page my heart was immediately pumping from all the excitement going on and had me feeling like I was right there in each scene. Street Divas has so many twist and turns and character connections that it leaves you floored and unable to figure out what is going to happen next.It is good to know that there will be a book 3 becuase ...more

“Hustlin’ Divas” ended with the showdown of all showdowns about to go down! And “Street Divas” picks up right there. So much happens that it’s impossible to summarize. Most revolves around the ongoing war between the Black Gangster Disciples and Vice Lords.

I had to think on this one for a day or two to decide exactly how I felt about this book. Had to let it marinate. Again, like with its predecessor, there was some strong writing that included things I liked and things I did not. Di

"Street Divas" by De'nesha Diamond was hot!!! The author immediately brought me into the book. The action started right away. The scenes were painted bright and vivid, and the characters were well-written. I mean, I felt like I was living on ShotGun Row, I could just feel Python's pet snakes crawling all around me, and I started to hate LeShelle's throne with a passion. Ms. Diamond really outdid herself here. I really enjoyed how the events and people connected, like how Cousin Skeet e ...more
Street Divas is "Off the Chang!" It is definitively a must read, but please make sure you read "Huslin Divas" first. If you want to read some real street hood, graphic love making, serious family gangsta rivalry then this is the book to read. De'nesha didn't fall us after reading Huslin Divas and waiting a year for the sequel and I am glad she came correct and strong in her writing. Only thing that has got me is now after reading Street Divas there is a part 3. OMG. . . I don't even know how she ...more

Picking up where Hustlin' Divas left off, Street Divas takes us more in depth as to why a lot of the drama between the Vice Lords & Gangsta Disciples even began.

LeShelle is still on her Queen Bitch status but someone is threatening to take her throne. Tashara is coping with her attack. Essence who was already a Queen G is forced into doing something she doesn't really wanna do and we also meet Lucifer, Fat Ace's ride or die chick. Oh and how I can I forget about Momma Peaches? She still up t
Ta'shara & Lashelle are still at it and so is Mason & Python they are back full force and ruthless as ever. The secrets are out and they are out for blood.Nothing will stop them from being on top question is who will it be?

These characters are still a trip, but I loved every minute of it.I felt like I was watching a big movie hit.You have to pay attention because I had got lost and had to start over but that didnt stop me from liking the story. You have to read this book cant wait for part

Book 2 was off the chain. So much drama Ta'Shara/Profit Python/LeShalle Black Ace/Python. The 3 different gangs after each other book was such a page turner. Highly anticipating the next one.

The streets of Memphis are hot in Street Divas by De’Nesha Diamond. This follow up to Hustlin’ Divas places readers back in the lives of females whose mission is to fight by their men’s side. LeShelle takes her role as the leader of Queen’s G seriously and will do anything to keep her title. She has no problem with laying down the law and making sure other females know who she is and what she represents.

Lucifer has always been a ride-or-die chick and has no problem with cleaning up other member
It picked right back up where it left off... Nothing really bad to say about the second book, although this time around for some reason I didn't find the flashbacks as interesting and barely read through all of them. I did feel like the story dragged out just a tab bit, but I love how the pieces are finally coming together in the eyes of the characters and not just us, the readers, like book 1. It was still full of drama bloody violence and more, but a lot more questions were answered in this bo ...more

The sequel is even better than the first one
Does it again

I enjoyed the first book in this series and I'm upset that I waited so long to read this one. The book started where part 1 left off and it was a page turner from the jump. My dislike for LaShelle multiplied but my love for Fat Ace, Lucifer and Profit increased. The drama was non stop and there were twist and turns throughout the book. There were times when I was confused about the characters but that could've been due to me not paying close attention. I can't wait to read part 3
Although this was a good book I felt like I was robbed alittle. I was a little upset that the book ended with yet another cliff hanger.Which makes you have to buy the next book. Just because its a series doesn't mean that it has to end with a cliff hanger. With another twenty pages this book and series could have been over with. But, since I'm dying to know whats going to happen next I will be purchasing the next book. all in all final rating 3.5
Wow!!!!!! What can I say...... I'm about to start the next book now. Please Read It is Good!!!!!!!
I didn't read the first book, I didn't even know this was a series, but wow, this book on it's own was really good. It's grimey and it's raw but I enjoyed it. I live in Memphis so it's always funny to me when authors try to depict my city as some country mess but De'nesha did a great job of portraying Memphis without going overboard on the dialect or anything like that. Can't wait to read the next book!

It was a good book like i said in part one took me a while to get into it since Im not into the gang banging books but I enjoyed it. I didn't like how it ended but im ready for part three. Diamond set this book straight up. These are not your million dollar fairy tales. It reminded me of Oakland just minus the gangs but im happy somebody wrote something that is real and not a fantasy!
All of these books come together so well..It's like you know the characters personally. In this entire series, my mouth has hung open at some of the things that these divas did & what they went through. Some of it made me cringe but most of it kept me reading! This book & series is just as good as the Hoodwives series if not better! I would recommend this series to any avid reader!
A story about two rival gangs led by two men who unbeknownst to them are brothers. The story is told through the eyes of the women who know them. These characters are well developed and complex. As the story unravels the layers of each person is peeled back to reveal their truths. Excellent book. Look forward to reading book 2.
