Shelves: non-fiction, 2nd, 1st, 3rd
Of the early reader, basic books I like this one best. It is larger format and so has bigger pictures and a less cluttered design. The text flows more conversationally. Describes the pouch but doesn't use the term marsupial.
Real life pictures with simple, larger text. Reads like a story. Great for introducing young kids to nonfiction.
