A little obvious, even for the very young, but adorable illustrations. I suppose the author can't help that a baby polar bear looks a lot like a grown polar bear, as does a baby zebra, giraffe, etc,!
Soft and sweet illustrations in acrylic and colored pencil look very cuddly. Each baby animal asks, "Whose baby am I?" and then on the next page, it shows the baby with the mama.
My little guys love this book. The first page shows a baby animal and asks "whose baby am I?". The next page shows the picture of the mom and says "I'm a ________ baby." I'm not sure WHY they get such a kick out of it, but they ask for it over and over and over again.

I thought this book was adorable. It would be a great science book. It will help students identify what baby beolngs to what mother animal.
Very easy "guess who" book. Baby animals ask "Whose baby am I?" and the toddlers/children can shout out an answer. Great for audience interaction.

I like the pictures of the babies. O.M.
I love this one. You have to guess the names of the animal babies (ie cub, calf, kitten) and match them to their parents. So cute, so fun.
John Butler is practically cuddly baby animal crack for two-year olds and their moms. Highly recommended for Tot-Time.
