This book won't change the world, or your life. It won't make you a better person or shift your perspective on life as you know it. Some of the jokes are a little clunky, and there's an unthinking homophobia at play that I don't think Baldwin is even conscious of ("pansy" being the insult of choice among the humans and one of the characters gleefully boinking literally any alien that has 50% or higher sexual compatibility--but only if they're female).

Spacetrawler is one of the most creative and funniest webcomics out there. I am so glad I found this and was even more excited to see that it was published in print form.

The premise is that a group of humans were abducted by an alien crew to help them liberate a group of oppressed aliens called the eebs. The human characters are their actions and reactions to the totally alien world is what fuels this story and is also the source of most of the humor in the book. But there are very touching mome
No reviews of this yet--why not? It is excellent space comedy, with engaging characters (human, alien, and robotic) and wild action. The alien ship captain/free-the-Eebs activist who kidnapped six humans comes back to Earth to tell the father of one of them about his daughter's life and death working to free the Eebs, as he promised her he would if she died. We don't get (yet?) to see how (if??) she died; he is describing all of her adventures and those of the whole crew. It is all hilarious. I ...more

A phenomenal SF epic - great character work, solid plotting, and a very interesting universe on display. Highly recommended!
