The galaxy is run on Eeb-built technology, which is a great and glorious thing--if you aren't an Eeb. Legally labeled as "less than sentient," they have no hope for liberation except for by the hands and face tentacles of Interplanet Amity, a galactic watchdog group who are about to make their biggest mistake yet--asking for help from the human race.

This trade contains the first 107 strips of the webcomic Spacetrawler.

*Note: I am reviewing the collected comics, not the print version of them.*

Starship captain and galactic activist Nogg is left without a crew to help him liberate the meek yet technologically gifted Eebs from their galaxy-wide enslavement. His less-than-brilliant solution: get humans involved.

One of Baldwin's other comics, Little Dee, is an all-time favorite of mine. So I was interested to see what he could do in an extremely

This book won't change the world, or your life. It won't make you a better person or shift your perspective on life as you know it. Some of the jokes are a little clunky, and there's an unthinking homophobia at play that I don't think Baldwin is even conscious of ("pansy" being the insult of choice among the humans and one of the characters gleefully boinking literally any alien that has 50% or higher sexual compatibility--but only if they're female).

All that said, though, there's something ende

The Eebs, small green aliens with strange telekinetic powers, have been declared “less than sentient” and enslaved by the Galactic Organizational Body. A civil rights group named Interplanet Amity, wants to free the Eebs. Their best hope is to seek help from a planet that’s almost ready to join the GOB, but hasn’t yet become dependent on Eeb-based technology. A small blue planet called Earth. But is this their best hope or a horrible mistake?

This webcomic begins with a brief action prologue, the

Spacetrawler is one of the most creative and funniest webcomics out there. I am so glad I found this and was even more excited to see that it was published in print form.

The premise is that a group of humans were abducted by an alien crew to help them liberate a group of oppressed aliens called the eebs. The human characters are their actions and reactions to the totally alien world is what fuels this story and is also the source of most of the humor in the book. But there are very touching mome

I've been meaning to read this book. It's been shoved into boxes along with at least four other books by the same author since I've moved quite a bit over the past year or so.

It was great! The artwork was great and the story reads quickly. There are important parts for both genders. It claims in the introduction to be similar to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which it wasn't. That is a compliment because I didn't particularly enjoy Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- I found it to be fairly po

Decent webcomic. Compelling story and active-if unoriginal-characters. Art is entirely functional and the humor all but breaks even. However, the first arc feels like a lead-in into the second, and as such does not offer a satisfactory conclusion.

No reviews of this yet--why not? It is excellent space comedy, with engaging characters (human, alien, and robotic) and wild action. The alien ship captain/free-the-Eebs activist who kidnapped six humans comes back to Earth to tell the father of one of them about his daughter's life and death working to free the Eebs, as he promised her he would if she died. We don't get (yet?) to see how (if??) she died; he is describing all of her adventures and those of the whole crew. It is all hilarious. I ...more
