Bach's account of Moss Hart is a well-balanced and fairly thorough one, though there were some places where he had to resort to speculation, as Hart's widow didn't give Bach access to Hart's personal papers. The speculation is labeled as such, though, and Bach does do a particularly good job showing when what Hart wrote in his autobiography, Act One, didn't exactly correspond to what really happened.
