Not being at all adverse to a big suspenseful thriller I was more than pleased to get my hands on a copy of NZ author Steve Malley's book POISON DOOR.

New Zealand has been in first place on my travel bucket list for the past two years, but Malley’s Christchurch is not the place I want to visit, even without earthquakes. When a story line of this calibre is played out in your own home town, it makes you see things a little differently! This is a fast paced thriller that had me from the word go. The way the writer has portrayed Christchurch and the things that take place there is just amazing, i found it extremely easy see the story played out right in front of me for this very reason. The depth of the characters was just right, there was no "over kill" on the side of Tommy Knowles and his bad ass crew, as can so...more
This one is now available for the kindle. I found it very exciting, with great characters on both the hero and villain sides. It was easy to get caught up in this fast paced story. I highly recommend it.
