I liked it but I didn't love it. It was great to finally read Gregori's HEA, he really deserved it. I loved to see how he went from a fledgling to a real vamp-man, LOL. I'm not sure how to explain why I didn't enjoy this one so much, Mostly because the heroine was the president's daughter and the whole thing wasn't taken seriously. I mean, if the president is going to have one of the world's most important meetings with all his staff about something supposed to be top secret, I'm sure h

Oh god.

Oh god, oh god why?

Gregori was such a fun and loving man, why did Sparks have to pair him up with stupid and boring Abigail? I can't even begin to say how much I wanted to slap Abigail's face throughout the whole book (I refuse to call her Abby because I REALLY DISLIKE HER).

Abigail was the eldest daughter of America's president. Basically, she had hidden from media and cameras all her life because she was in her worm hole trying to find a cure for her poor diseased mother. It was noble an

A brillaint book.
I would have given this book 5 stars if not for the slow start. I was really worried when I started skimming pages at the beginning because I wanted this book to be incredible. I am happy to say that about 20% in it starts to pick up the pace. I was very happy with it in the end.

Gregori is one of the best hero's in this series. He's drop dead gorgeous for one. But he really wears his heart on his sleeve, even though he is terrified of the consequences, he just blurts out how h

Gregori became one of my favourite characters ever since I read the first book of the series (only the first book though) so even though I didn't really like the author-style I went ahead and gave this book a try.

Turns out I still don't like the way Ms. Sparks write about her characters. Perhaps I have a tendency to compare her to a certain author who gives their characters more passion and reason so I was certainly not feeling it with this series.

One thing - the characters have really shaky emo

Playboy Hot Bod Vampire Gregori has been faced upside the head by the love bug. This bug had a very bad sense of humor, he fixed Gregoi's heart on the President of the USA's daughter. Not the one sen in the media at all the parties but the really smart one who will do anything to save her mother. Bantering, lusting and fighting are sure to come.
I wasn't in like with this edition. First the narration for any of the military men was so awful, whiney weasel so

After reading this the second time I realized how very little I like Abby and her bitchy attitude the entire book. The way she kept trying to force Gregori to give her what she wanted regardless of the costs to him and his friends really put me off. Not sure what Greg thought was so amazing about her. I did enjoy that Howard was in this book a little more than he had been in others.
The narrators voice for some of the characters was horrible !

The video of the big battle in the last book has gone viral, and mortals are starting wonder if vampires are really real. So it falls to the harmless-bottle-fed-never-bit-a-human Gregori to be the poster child for vamps when doing damage control and trying to win the support from the President to officially 'debunk' the videos. However, the President's cooperation is going to come with price - Gregori is going to have to accompany the President's limelight shy eldest daughter Abby on a secret ...more

Not a huge fan of this one. There honestly wasn't a whole lot going on.. It was just kinda meh, boring.

I never really liked Gregori. He had his funny moments but other than that he just didn't do anything for me. When I read the blurb and saw that he was going to be hooking up with the presidents daughter, I just wasn't excited about it. I think thats why it took me months to finally get to this one.

Abby was the presidents daughter and she was boring. And to be honest kind of a bitch. Well ther

Why do so many of the reviews say that this is humorous? I read this book based on those reviews.
So where's the Funny?!
Instead of funny, I'd say it was lighthearted. Nothing wrong with that. It was actually a cute little story.
I think that my only complaint would be that I thought the ending could have used a little more...something. An Epilogue maybe? (view spoiler)
All I really need to say about Kerrelyn Spark's Love at Stake series is More, More, More!!! I absolutely love all the characters that have been developed throughout these books & remain as reoccurring characters so you know how their lives are progressing. This book was no exception to the humorous, exciting, excellent romances of the other books. Yeah, it's not deep literature, but I feel so good when reading these books & always wish there was more at the end. Gregori is so hot & I ...more

OK... I am done with this series so far, They are fast and easy reads with crappy covers and constant regional slang words that don't belong. Rascal yet again mentioned in China and New York. I finally had enough. Everyone is a damn rascal. Whatever!

OTHERWISE... The story was a 4 star read. Gregori and the presidents daughter. Some governmental questions were not resolved as expected, even after they were firmly mentioned. I am not sure if I was supposed to figure it was implied that it was all

Thanks to YouTube and a video showing the decapitation of the Malcontent leader, the secret existence of vampires is no longer quite so secret. Hoping to form an alliance with the U S government, Gregori Holstein is sent to convince the President and his advisors to convince the public the video is fake. Gregori is the epitome of what a young vamp should be, urbane, well educated, suave, gorgeous and totally bottle fed. Gregori has fed exclusively on synthetic blood since his turning and is the ...more

If you’ve read the other books in this series then you know who “Gregori the Gregarious” often referred to as a “play-boy” who’s never wanted to settle down. Someone always the life of the party and would always ensure some comic relief in this series from his crazy ideas, to his outlandish self-confidence. Well it’s finally his turn to meet a woman who’ll turn his world upside down, and of all people it’s the president’s daughter! In the last book a video is released of Conner killing Casimir, ...more

I don't where to start first.

Let's just start at the beginning, in this case the herione: Abby Tucker. I lost count how many times I wanted to slap her. To Oh my god, the sexiest man I have ever seen is a vampire, so I can't think of him right now, my mother is dying and I have to find a cure if it kills me first. Girl, it almost did. You were lucky Gregori is a vampire and can heal.

Her little pet name for Gregori, "Gori?" Two words: mood killer. I swear if she had said it one more time I would

Despite having this series on my wish list for a while I had yet to read any of the titles so when this book was offered for review I thought it would be the perfect chance to give it a try. Sexiest Vampire Alive is the 11th book in the long running Love at Stake paranormal romance series. While there is consistency through the series with an overall story arc and inter related characters, each individual book features a new couple so I found Sexiest Vampire Alive worked just fine as a stand ...more
I didnt love this book but I didnt hate it either. For the most part this was interesting to read but there was a lot that made me say "WHAT THE HELL!?". First off let me just say given the title name I was expecting tons of lusty vamp scenes but sadly was only given one! Secondly, Gregori is not the sexiest vampire alive. Sorry but my vote still goes to Eric Northman of the Sookie Stackhouse series. The thing about him that really put me off was the way he talked; "bro" and "chillax" just didnt ...more

Karrelyn Sparks has done it again for me! Every book in this series just makes me love her writing more and more! I enjoy the lightness of it and even the serious moments. She has a way of making you laugh like crazy and even tear up for her characters. Truly unique for me. Ok, so this is Gregory Holstein's book. He is a "young" vampire and the head of the Marketing Department at Romeatech Industries. He is also known somewhat as a "playboy" around all of his friends and people that know him. I ...more

You have got to read this book...Once again Kerrelyn Sparks has outdone herself with a book filled with adventure, humor, romance, cliffhangers, more humor, world travel, espionage, and...(wait for it) HUMOR! Laughed my ass off over the oxymoron of "vampires" and "alive". But it works! Vampires have been outed by a video of good vamps battling bad vamps and the overwhelming vote is to send Marketing genius and playboy vamp Gregori Holstein to ask the President of the United States help in ...more

Gregori is a relatively newly changed vampire who is known as a womanizer in his world. Abigail is a smart, independent scientist who is trying to heal her sick mother. The Vamps are trying to build an alliance with the U.S. government, and Gregori is their chosen representative to show the President that good Vamps are harmless to mortals. I enjoyed this book a lot. I heard about this series for so long, but never had a chance to get myself one. But luckily, when I found a very cheap price for this book and I just grab it fast and read it the next day.

I like how the romance brewing between Gregory and Abby. Their sex scene also was hot! But unfortunately the suspense felt not fit in, it was weird, slightly boring, and little bit dull.

Well, it was nice, quick and easy read.

while I usually love Kerrelyn Sparks, I found this story very slow in the first half of the book. I missed the usual humor I associate with the love at stakes series, and found I just didn't feel the connection to Gregori and Abby that I felt for the other couples in the series. It picked up in the second half, once there was more action involved. which is why I still gave it 4 stars, but I don't think it lived up to the rest of the series.

When I first started reading this, all I could think was "please please don't let Simone be his HEA" as there is no way I could have read that story. Fortunately, she wasn't and the torture of her presence was limited to a chapter or two. On the other hand, Abigail was the perfect HEA for Gregori. I loved how she called him "Gori" way too funny. I found this book to be super funny and romantic as well. I'm just wondering who Madison is going to fall for....cause I assume she's next.

Gregori Holstein is much more than the persona he portrays to the public. He is so good at his job it shows in his everyday life. He has the opportunity to make a contribution beyond the norm for his people. This assistance is presented in the form of the presidents daughter, Abby Tucker.

Doors are opened and realities tested.

This book wasn't full of action like the past couple of books, but it was funny and, in my opinion, really romantic. I never felt a great connection with Gregori, him being a metrosexual ladies man and all, but I have to admit I really liked his character, not at all what I expected and that's exciting!

It had a slow start, but got better.
I enjoyed the conflict between the president's daughter and Gregori.
The end was great. As always, love the humor in the story.
I wonder what the future holds now that the President knows vampires exist, and Scholar has a vial of his blood. Hmm...
