I read this story as part of the Tales of the Otherworld anthology, but would have bought the book (for the same price) for this story alone. LOVED IT!

Beginnings is the background story on how Elena and Clay met. It was a perfect mix of a little romance, a little drama and lots of humor. Clay as the Cranky Professor was hilarious. His way of reaching out to Elena in the beginning was so awkward and so ... Clay.
I think Armstrong wrote one of the most intriguing heroes in UF with Clay. Direct - bo...more

I loved this, because it gave me insight into Clay. I could never understand why he bit her. What was going on in his mind and now I know.

I also loved seeing them fall in love. Meeting them when they were young, before he bit and betrayed her and made her so angry.

I don't usually read these kinds of prequel stories, etc, but maybe I should start.

Loved this book, it tells the story of Clay and Elena and how they met when Clay was working as a professor.
Clay and Elena are my favourite characters in this series, so it was great to learn more about how they met and what were they before the bite... I think this is a good introduction to Bitten...

Loved it but left me hanging for more. I haven't yet read the Otherworld books and I'm a bit confused by the order they are supposed to go. I always relied on Goodreads for that, but in this case it doesn't help that much. I'm off to look wiki now :)

Awesome. I really enjoyed this story about Elena and Clay. I just love these characters the more I read about them. Ms Armstrong is a gifted storyteller. Definitely will continue with the series.

I absolutely love this story, I've waited so long since reading the series for their meeting to be told and I adore it. Fans of the couple will swoon during and after. <3

Clay and Elena are my favourite couple from Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series. I ate this up. Absolutely delicious.

This is the story of how Clayton and Elena met and became engaged, resulting in Elena being bitten.

c'est mignon mais trop gentil par rapport à ce à quoi m'a habitué cette auteur.

A very short story telling us why Clayton bit Elena. The insight into his mental workings is always fun. I also saw Elena in a new light. I am not sure how I feel about her yet but we will see how I feel after reading Bitten. Another unnecessary read but you might as well.

This is perhaps my favorite story of the Otherworld series (so far). Really awesome and really gives insight as to why Clayton is the way he is. I would recommend reading Clayton's novella in Men of the Otherworld first.

Kelley Armstrong has been telling stories since before she could write. Her earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers' dismay. All efforts to make her produce "normal" stories failed.

Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked a...more
