I read the first two books in Colleen Gleason's Gardella Vampire Chronicles ( The Rest Falls Away and Rises The Night) and thought they were good enough to keep reading but not really anything special. This latest installment, however, has totally changed my mind.

Victoria has spent the past year and a half fighting vam...more

Oh my gosh! This was a such a great read with a cliffhanger ending! I can hardly wait for August when the 4th book comes out. This series is difficult to explain because there are so many details, but I'll try.
In every generation, a Slayer is born...oh, no wait, that's Buffy. Never mind. My bad.

I've also started charting the BtVS-Gardella parallels. So far it's pretty interesting. There's a subchart for J.R. Ward parallels, but those pretty much died with Aunt Eustacia and the constant use of "vero". That ti...more

THIS BOOK IS THE BEST YET!!!!!! There is a MAJOR surprise and lots of heartbreak in this one. You finally see Victoria, the seemingly invincible Venator, crack when under pressure and her true feelings come out. It's not only a relief, but, it's a bittersweet confession that will make your eyes water if you are as emotional as me (probably not). I am so excited for the next book. I have to find it immediately. You have to read the series, and it only works if you read it in order. And as ...more

This series does just get better and better. I'm a Max/Victoria shipper from their first encounter in the first book. Loved it. I can't wait to read the last two books and her next series!
