Prior to reading this story I had not heard of this author, but after reading it I will never forget her. The premise alone caught me at first glance. When I read about were-bird and a were-leopard in the blurb I knew I would have to read this story just to figure how that would work. I hadn’t anticipating falling in love with the characters, but that is exactly what happened.

an okay end to this series. good for a quick read, but ultimately i found the series somewhat disappointing. i find i don't enjoy reading these samhain/ellora's cave type books as much as i used to, after reading more fleshed out (no pun intended), substantial erotica/romance novels.
I liked it a lot, it was a fast, fun and hot read, but those questions raised in the epilogue were just cruel. When will those be answered, huh?

As a native of the South, is it any wonder Loribelle has a love of storytelling? She started writing seriously as a teenager and finished her first manuscript, a mystery, when she was nineteen. After a few bumps along the way and stints as an Army MP, a waitress, a book store manager, a student, and a wedding photographer, she turned to writing full time. Now she divides her time between a husband...more
