I'm not usually one for biographies or early 20th century British history, but Stella Browne sounded interesting enough that I wanted to read this anyway. Not a lot of information about her private life survies so this is a biography that focuses on her activism and her ideas. I really recommend it to anyone interested in early Feminist history, and the history of abortion and birth control activism.
