4.5 out of 5. Both the main characters of this novel appeared in the previous novel, A Slower, Lower Love. Kurt is the Delaney brother who gets left behind and he is a man who is coming to believe that he will never find a woman who can share both his life and his life goals, not to speak of his values and priorities. We also met Dierdre, Cait's best friend, who is now coming to be the maid-of-honor at Cait's wedding and once again she is thrown together with Kurt. She is a high-powered, big cit...more

A delightful, warm hearted and very human story of two people who needed to learn to trust and care more about each other than about the problems of the past. There is also that reality that often we are drawn away from the familiar--our families, our hometowns, our most well-known surroundings--in order to experience the exciting and unknown. For many those are good experiences, but more and more people are re-discovering the joys of living at a slower pace, in a cultural surrounding that allow...more

In this sequel to A Slower Lower Love, we met the honorable Kurt again and his heroine Deidre. Deidre is the best friend to Cait from the previous book, and is in town for the big wedding. Kurt unknowingly gets roped into keeping Deidre at his house, and when he picks her up from the airport, sparks go a flyin! We follow their journey of love and discovery of their happy ever after.

Again Lila Munro wrote characters that were so real and honest, I was hard for me to put down this book. As stated...more

A Slower Lower Love is a wonderful love story. I was constantly moved by Bryce and the emotions this character inspired. The writing flows beautifully and the story is over before the reader expects it. Ms. Munno has a talent for drawing the reader in and then leaving them wanting more.

I knew that Lila had finished this series so I wanted to get started. I should have know Lila would knock it out of the park. A lovely love story about learning to trust. Bryce is my favorite of Lila's heroes for now, but I have two more books to read in this series. This is a wonderful Saturday afternoon cuddle up and read book.

Lila Munro currently resides on the coast of North Carolina with her husband and their two four-legged kids. She’s a military wife with an empty nest and takes much of her inspiration for her heroes from the marines she’s lived around for the past fifteen years.
