Griffin Benedict was a cool modern hero. He treated his job as a news reporter, with a sensational story about Raleigh Shinn, seriously but soon realized there was more than meets the eye with the uptight legal counsel.

I read my first HQ book at the age of 12. It's a plot line I remember well, even after all these years. Just like that first HQ book, Kara Lennox's book Nothing But The Truth is another HQ I won't forget. The plot is neat and tight writing. Griffin is a great leading man. I didn't like him at first because of his profession (as a one-time journalism major in college, news media irritation made me a bit biased against), however Lennox pulled me out of that mind-set quickly.
