Some call Ally the alpha. She's strong, doesn't take crap from anybody, and protects her family. That's how she died. Yet somehow she came back, different. How can the things she does now be explained? Will her life ever be somewhat normal again?

Ally is one heck of a heroine. Her past is surrounded by tragedy, and at an age where most are starting their adult life with so much ahead, Ally is raising a young pup, Dylan. But she does this with no second thought or hesitance. Now that Dylan is com

This book is sort of like a sandwich. The beginning and ending felt like a whirlwind storm where so much information gets thrown at you that it's overwhelming. The meat in the middle though is delicious and worth savoring. Please forgive my food analogy, I haven't eaten breakfast yet. Yours, Mine and Howls is at its core a werewolf book and I really enjoyed that aspect of it. However, there's a
Ally Kendall's only focus was to keep her young cousin Dylan protected from his drunken father. When his rage escalated she did the only thing she could think of, get in front of the volatile wolf which lead to her death and rebirth. Ally was resurrected for making the ultimate sacrifice and saving Dylan, thirteen years later she has never regretted her decision but has had to keep her unnatural abilities a closely guarded secret.

Now that Dylan is becoming a man, he is in need of guidance from a

This was a very good story. Ally and Cade are both great and I really liked them together. The story is interesting with a lot of unknowns that don't come out until the end. It kept me engaged until the end, not wanting to stop until I knew all.

Ally is a great heroine. She's strong, smart and caring. She lost her parents at an early age and then, when she was 16, she also lost her aunt that was raising her. She lived on her own and helped her cousin, Gracie, look after her 5 year old son,
What a surprisingly fabulous book. Unlike many urban fantasy books, this wasn't a simple tale of love and lust, leaving the reader wondering if life actually continues after a relationship starts. Lovely amount of story left to tell and I sincerely hope we see more of these characters.

It was an okay read i guess but kinda seemed all over the place. Most of the time it just felt like too much was happening all at the same time. So many characters appearing suddenly really made it hard to follow what was going on.

In all my recent woofy reviews you will sadly find me saying that it lacked intensity, unfortunately this falls in the same category. They all just seen to miss the intensity that should be present between a wolf and its mate. The fire, the
Excellent suspense plot and lots to follow in this one. The shifter concept is different than other books and I really enjoyed the change.

Allison "Ally" Kendall died at the age of 18 defending her young cousin from his enraged, drunk werewolf stepfather, and was later reborn with superhuman powers and strength that rivals most werewolfs. With the help of a beta werewolf named Seth and another werewolf friend named Dec, they go on the run as Ally raises Dylan as her own. When Dylan turns 18, they discover that his true family lives in Colorado and they head out to find them.

Ally Kendall knew the moment she died and came back to life that her one focus was raising her nephew Dylan. She did not know where her life would lead, but rolled with the punches which has led her to seeking out Cade MacDougall, Alpha and Uncle to Dylan with her cousin and friend in tow she is not sure what will come next.

It doesn't take long for Cade to realize he has met his mate, but she is nothing like he would have expected. She acts like an alpha, has secrets and unnatural abilities he c

After first reading Kiss and Kin I honestly wasn't expecting very much when I started Yours, Mine and Howls. And while it didn't knock my socks off, blow me out of the water,or take my breath away I was presently surprised to find that there was more to this book then crappy sex scenes.

The story starts out in the past where we witness Ally Kendall saving her cousin Dylan from his drunk stepfather and in the process, her death. But because she is our heroine, she doesn't stay dead for long and co
Although this is the second book in this series, it can be read as a complete stand alone book. I haven't read the first one and didn't feel I was missing anything.

Yours, Mine, and Howls PJV Quickie: I’m kind of picky about my shapeshifter romance and Ms. Holley got this one right: Great characters, a fae mystery, and interesting pack dynamics made ‘Yours, Mine and Howls’ a book I couldn’t put down.

Ally Kendall has been caring for her younger cousin, Dylan, since she was killed trying to protect him from his enraged werewolf father. She doesn’t know how or why she came back to life five hours after she died, but she did, and she’s been caring for Dyl
I read the first one of this series and wasn't sure if I wanted to carry on. It was okay but nothing fantastic. I am so glad that I did. This was a really good read. I loved the characters and how they interacted with each other.
I loved Ally, she was strong and for the longest time I thought that she had been made into a were but was pleasantly surprised at the way things came out.
Cade was strong and protective just like we think that aphla werewolves should be. Ally would listen but she also wo
What a fantastic read! Best of the three books I've read by Kinsey Holley. I love the way Cade isn't perfect, but that makes him an even better hero. I could tell that the author had put a lot of thought into the characters and what made them individuals and how they would react in any given situation. You never get the feeling a character reacts 'out of character' just to push the plot a certain way. The plot was created by the people populating the pages. Even the 'bad guy(s)' were people too. ...more
Had some good lines but the whole alpha male got a little tiring towards the end. Not a bad read all in all.

“She called me baby.”
“Oh, well then, we’ve got nothing to worry about, do we? Hope she’s not the jealous type. Wouldn’t want her breaking my neck if she catches us in the shower together.”
“Shut the fuck up and help me get undressed.”

“First thing back from the dead, you start bitching?”
He heard a small smile in her voice. “Well, you can’t put a five-year-old in the front seat. Then Dyla
SOO much better than the first one!

i really loved the ideas and concept of this book. Although Cade annoyed the hell out of me sometimes with his macho bs. I know alphas are supposed to be domineering and strict but not to their mate. I mean he let Ally order him around a bit but he'd get really annoyed and irritated about it like a little girl.

despite my rambling, i really did love reading this book and the characters were really interesting and refreshing to read. the side characters were ev
The beginning and middle was great! But close to the end I began to feel as overwhelmed as the characters. Overall though it was a great book to read!

I really enjoyed this shifter story. Great mythology and world-building, strong heroine and alphahole-but-loveable hero. I definitely recommend.

Bought from kobo.
A really nice paranormal romance with werewolves, a little mystery and a great relationship in the center.

I loved all the characters, the interactions between them, the fast pace of the novel, the writing style, it all just clicked for me. I loved the chemistry between Ally and Cade and both their fights and sweet moments. I liked the blend of strength and vulnerability in Ally and how Cade was an alpha male but also so sweet and caring with his daughter and everybody he loved. I liked the secon
lebih bagus dr buku pertama, exciting en bener2 alur cerita yg ok.. alurnya sama sekali nggak ngebosenin, awalnya males bgt baca sekian ratus hal ttg werewlf. Funny and interesting. A great read. Maybe I loved it this much because the last couple of books I've read were either mediocre or terrible. But even allowing for that, this book was quite good.

Just some minor thoughts though:
The title was nonsensical
And there was a whole lot of mythology there in the end. A little hard to keep up.
The hero was an uncommunicative Neanderthal in the beginning.
I liked how the heroine handled him (she's real bossy).
No epilogue - not cool
But I look forward t
I read Nanny Years and it was amazingly funny and very well written short story. I just had to know what will happen next. So I bought the kindle book and spent a day sneaking behind my PC to read it. And it was a great adventure. I was hooked from the start - the characters were believable and the storyline was really exciting. I think author has done a wonderful job creating this world with fae, werewolves and old gods. And now my only option is to buy the other books from the series and hope ...more

YOURS MINE AND HOWLS was another roller coaster ride of a read, and took some time to for me to settle down to it. After reading this second book I will say that packing alot of drama into her books probably will be apart of Ms Holley style – there is alot of stuff happening that made this read a bumpy journey for me.

This is a different shifter story, a little odd. It had many plots going on that it was difficult to keep up, I felt like I was being pull in to many different directions. When someone want to know what was happen they were told " tell you later or don't have time right now in a hurry will tell you later" .
But I guess overall I enjoyed it enough that I read the whole thing.

Really good story about gods (which I usually don't care for but they're not a huge part of the story), destiny and family. I loved how Cade would lose his poop and wasn't the super perfect Alpha that always did the right thing. So far I'm really liking this series. I need to read the first book in the series though :)
4.5 stars - Review to come, but I really really liked this. I am a shifter nut and I liked the bit of myth tie-ins too and I really liked that the heroine is alpha enough - and has some secret special powers - that allow her to go toe to toe with her very alpha mate. I also really liked both Allie's ragtag family and Cade's patchwork quilt pack.
While I really liked "Kiss and Kin," this offering by Holley didn't do it for me; it was too long, with too much information packed into it. I got 49% through the book (Kindle edition) and then skimmed to the end. I felt like the author tried to do too much in one novel. It had a good premise that turned into "am I done yet?"

“What, Tough Girl's crying now? What a pansy," cracked Michael.
"Watch it, dude," Dylan said softly. "Don't fuck with her when she's crying.”
“Ally said if I let you out of bed she'd kill me."
"Ally's not your Alpha, wolf." Some of his strength had returned but not enough to intimidate his second, who knew it.
"Yeah, well, my Alpha can't do much to me right now, but his mate kind of scares me. There's something strange about that chick, Cade."
"I know. I don't care.”
