I love yoga in all its forms and for any serious practitioner of yoga, who is interested in FAR more than just stretching exercises for the body (although those are here too), this book is the best resource I have ever seen. It includes techniques from many different branches of yoga, including body cleansing practices (shatkarmas), stretching poses (asanas), many forms of meditation practice, breathing exercises (pranayama), "body locks" (mudras and bandhas), and also a good deal of yogic theor...more

A most intense, involved and enlightening bible for tantric yoga.

wonderful writer, down to earth/humerous yogi. Not into secrets or mystery. He tells you everything and figures if you're mature enough to handle it you will. HUGE book, but beautfully laid out and systematic to build on gradually. I bought mine from a bookstore in India via ABEBooks.com for about a third of what it costs on Amazon, even when adding on the shipping.
