Author is a D.O. (Osteopath) and gives very good description of the many things that can go wrong with your knee. My year and a half with orthopedic surgeons left me with very little understanding of what was going on in my knees and why they thought arthroscopic surgery would help. It is such a complicated joint and there are many bones, ligaments, cartilage parts, tendons, fluids, nerves and muscles than be damaged or go awry from injury or over use. A good book to read if your knees are troubling you. I feel I know my knees much better now and will take better care of them.
