This book is sort of like a sandwich. The beginning and ending felt like a whirlwind storm where so much information gets thrown at you that it's overwhelming. The meat in the middle though is delicious and worth savoring. Please forgive my food analogy, I haven't eaten breakfast yet. Allison "Ally" Kendall died at the age of 18 defending her young cousin from his enraged, drunk werewolf stepfather, and was later reborn with superhuman powers and strength that rivals most werewolfs. With the help of a beta werewolf named Seth and another werewolf friend named Dec, they go on the run as Ally raises Dylan as her own. When Dylan turns 18, they discover that his true family lives in Colorado and they head out to find them.

Some call Ally the alpha. She's strong, doesn't take crap from anybody, and protects her family. That's how she died. Yet somehow she came back, different. How can the things she does now be explained? Will her life ever be somewhat normal again?
Ally is one heck of a heroine. Her past is surrounded by tragedy, and at an age where most are starting their adult life with so much ahead, Ally is raising a young pup, Dylan. But she does this with no second thought or hesitance. Now that More...

Although this is the second book in this series, it can be read as a complete stand alone book. I haven't read the first one and didn't feel I was missing anything.
Ally is 18 years old when she dies protecting her baby cousin from his drunken werewolf father on the night that he killed his wife. 15 years alter Ally, Dylan, the baby now 18 years old himself, Seth another cousin and Dec their room mate are on the run after Ally has beaten up an ex-boyfriend who attacked her. At this poin More...

I read the first one of this series and wasn't sure if I wanted to carry on. It was okay but nothing fantastic. I am so glad that I did. This was a really good read. I loved the characters and how they interacted with each other.
I loved Ally, she was strong and for the longest time I thought that she had been made into a were but was pleasantly surprised at the way things came out.
Cade was strong and protective just like we think that aphla werewolves should be. Ally would liste More...

SOO much better than the first one!
i really loved the ideas and concept of this book. Although Cade annoyed the hell out of me sometimes with his macho bs. I know alphas are supposed to be domineering and strict but not to their mate. I mean he let Ally order him around a bit but he'd get really annoyed and irritated about it like a little girl.

4.5 stars
Funny and interesting. A great read. Maybe I loved it this much because the last couple of books I've read were either mediocre or terrible. But even allowing for that, this book was quite good.
Just some minor thoughts though:
The title was nonsensical
And there was a whole lot of mythology there in the end. A little hard to keep up.
The hero was an uncommunicative Neanderthal in the beginning.
I liked how the heroine handled him (she's real bossy). More...

YOURS MINE AND HOWLS was another roller coaster ride of a read, and took some time to for me to settle down to it. After reading this second book I will say that packing alot of drama into her books probably will be apart of Ms Holley style – there is alot of stuff happening that made this read a bumpy journey for me.

While I really liked "Kiss and Kin," this offering by Holley didn't do it for me; it was too long, with too much information packed into it. I got 49% through the book (Kindle edition) and then skimmed to the end. I felt like the author tried to do too much in one novel. It had a good premise that turned into "am I done yet?"

What a surprisingly fabulous book. Unlike many urban fantasy books, this wasn't a simple tale of love and lust, leaving the reader wondering if life actually continues after a relationship starts. Lovely amount of story left to tell and I sincerely hope we see more of these characters.

This story is about four misfit werewolves finding a home for themselves by learning to trust enough to become part of a pack. Through their journey of self-discovery, a magical mystery of enfolds and leaves the reader wondering what will happen next.

I've been waiting MONTHS for this to come out. And it didn't disappoint. I am interested in finding out if the story will continue. A lot was answered, but a TON more was introduced with a high probability of future story lines. I'm all in.

Good characters, good chemistry. The "mystery" left a bit to be desired. The explanation was there in the end, but it didn't feel right. Not enough follow through.

There were a lot of parts of this book that I liked, but (especially in the second half) it felt like the romance was overwhelmed by the weight of too many side-plots.

I really liked this book (and will read more by this author), BUT-- I felt like I was reading three different stories & I didn't like 'Ally' (the main female character).

Fab title, likeable characters, interesting worldbuilding, fast-paced and werewolves -- what's not to like? :)
Was an enjoyable weekend read.

I loved this book and it's characters immediately. I simply could not put it down. Kinsey Holley is definitely one of my new favorite authors!
