First, thanks to Goodreads giveaway and the author for my free copy of this book. The story follows the main character Deanne from her early childhood throughout adulthood. The book really is about how her personality is formed, told through vignettes of events that transpire throughout her lifetime. Disappointed to say the least. The story follows Deanne's life from ten years old to the present. After her teenage years, I didn't like her at all. I keep reading thinking something is going to come out to make me change my mind and there has to be something more to her. And then, it just ends without a warning. I actually turned back a few pages to make sure I didn't miss anything. Nope. Nothing. I still can't believe it.
