OOk. This is one of those incest ones between siblings. There is no warning because they're not really siblings, just led to believe they are. Regardless of if they share blood or not, they still go through all that 'I want to hump my sibling, that's so wrong' stuff. So if you like that sort of thing, this is the book for you, Evangeline Anderson really plays up the insecurity, guilt and shame with these two.

I found that parts of the story dragged on as the author tried to play up the 'will-the

I need to lobotomize my self in order to forget reading this.
Will rew soon. And OMG will I go negative on this!

Here is the rew:
So.....OMG!
This book was something else. And not in a good way.
It was just one of those things that made you want to rewrite history and make yourself never ever ever lay eyes on the text inside the book.
First I have to say that it was utter sacrilege for this book about siblings to be called Forbidden as Tabitha Suzuma -s Forbidden that was about what? Well, also sibling

This is my 3rd Evangeline Anderson read and I can say she's becoming my go-to-author for "we shouldn't be doing this" sexual tension *g*. In Str8te Boys, it was the "I'm not really gay, but I wanna bang my hot roomate/soccer teammate" variety. Picture Perfect was the "I wanna bang my step-sister" variety. And here with Forbidden, we have the "I wanna bang my sister, who's not really my sister, but I don't know that" set up.

There were so many unintentionally hilarious moments in this one...some

With a plot (albeit a watered down version) ripped out of Angel Sanctuary, Vol. 1, (Kaori Yuki should sue) this by the numbers erotic romance has a host of flaws. The subject of pseudo-incest is tackled without any real emotion or sensitivity so that the characters are left flat, naive and slightly comical. Their motivations are fuzzy (how does initiating sexual contact not encourage further sexual relations?), their intelligence questionable (how does sex without ejaculation not constitute sex? ...more

There is a warning in the blurb but i will reinforce it. If you are uncomfortable with the taboo of incest, this book may not be to your liking. Owen and Leah aren't related by blood, but are siblings.

The angel twain are soul mates, lovers, guardians of the throne of Heaven. Prince Lucifer has a plan to overthrow Heaven by reeving (cutting their souls from them using a supernatural sword called

I have such mixed feelings about this story.

Firstly: I'm not easy to squick when it comes to adopted siblings, step-siblings, and the like. I love the forbidden love theme and, despite having read the disclaimer, I wasn't expecting to feel as uncomfortable as I did upon reading it.

I've read at least one of Ms. Anderson's "incest themed" books, this one dealing with a less-taboo subject of step-siblings who have only been in each other's lives for five years. I really enjoyed that one, even if I

Wonderful Angel erotic romance, skirts around brother/sister incest.

Not my favorite. Again with the incest.

The title to this book is quite misleading. I would suggest other title, like "How much rejection can the TSTL heroine handle before impaling her gorgeous angel c*** on someone else?" or "Eternal Blue Balls, or how Owen is torn between glaring at his sister and giving her what they bvoth need *eyeroll*".
And yes, the eyeroll should really be in the title if you want the reader to know what to expect.

Let's start with the "story": Micah and Ariel, two angels who guard the gates of heaven by having

I am going to ignore the sibling aspect of this book. It did gross me out that they truly believed they were siblings, and hearing them say "brother" and "sister" during bed scenes...creepy; but I was forewarned so I am not allowed to complain.

Okay, so ignoring that aspect of it, and concentrating only on plot, character, etc... I thought this book was okay. It did have a plot. What I liked about it was that it had two levels of plot, where both hinged on each other. Where what happens in one i

Finished reading this book a few hours ago and I'm now going to review it.
I've read some negative reviews about this book and I seriously can't see the reason of those. I loved it. I think it's one of the few books that could touch my heart and soul so deeply. I spent all the time reading the book with a lump in my throat. On the verge of tears. It broke my heart. I could feel Leah and Owen's pain - and their love - deep in my soul.
I'm not so satisfied of how it ended, but it wasn't so bad eit

Odd dialogue, but very provocative erotica.
I went into reading this book, not having a clue, what it was about, except that I actually thought it was another in the series of sci-fi erotica from EA. It isn't, by the way, or maybe it is connected, because the whole deity alien thing is interwoven in this series. In any case, the story was about a brother and sister who weren't really brother and sister, so I read most of book looking through my fingers, it did not stop me because its well written

Ms Anderson loves skipping along the incest line, doesn't she. I've read almost 3 similar themed books.

The basic plot remains the same. The guilt, the social censure and the shame of thinking of your brother/sister THAT way. Yes, it icks me out. There may not be a blood bond, however you are raised as siblings --> you should have sibling like feelings.

Some of the ideas are inane in logic. "He will penetrate me with only the tip so that's not incest" OR "He won't come inside me, so that is ok

Not sure why this was suppose to be so taboo. The reader knows the truth from the very first chapter.

And the scenes when the two characters are together are so bad. They keep talking to each other in a way that's not at all hot, romantic, sexy, etc. I really don't understand this book.

Gave it two stars instead of one because it's well written. It's just the plot and characters that make no sense. Watch "A Life Less Ordinary". No incest but it reminded me of the movie while I read it.

Ewww. This premise is creepy. Every time I read about something sexual in the book between the "siblings" and then thought of my brother, I got totally grossed out And the book is somewhat juvenile on top of the whole drawn-out incest thing
Yuck
I wish I has read this book's blurb and reviews before buying it. I bought it on the strength of the author's name alone without looking further into the book

Owen and Leah have a weird story... I'm just on the fence as to if I liked this one or not. I have a brother so this pseudo incest was a little weird for me :/
I think what really has me on the fence was the ending. I'm not going to spoil it, but it just felt a bit... fake. Like, Anderson's intervention to add that last bit of drama to keep these two crazy kids apart was just forced.
Give it a read and decide for yourself.

Um, why was it necessary to have the supernatural element at all? Wouldn't it have been basically the same story if they were just two people who grew up thinking they were siblings, and turned out not to be?

Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for ...more
