Sadly this never worked for me at all.

The whole story line was rushed and made little sense.

Seth is 18, but is treated like a minor by his step mother. She makes decisions for him without talking to him it seems. Maybe this could have been explained as her being the main carer, but we have no knowledge of their living arrangements prior to Seth being left at Cray’s. All we know is she was married to Seth’s dad for a year, but no idea when or how long ago, or how long Seth had been living with h

I think this was my 9th time read...yep...I think I shall keep on re-reading this very sensuous, intense, fast-paced story with really lovable characters, no matter what their flaws are.
I read this story, when I am sad ... happy... emotional... bored... angry..or after another awful story that I made a mistake of purchasing..."Raising Set" then is a tonic for me to bring "the Chi" back.
I love Seth who is an angry and unhappy 18 yr old. Well no one can blame him for his anger and unhappiness, af
I bought this story because I decided to be brave and try completely new to me author. And I am usually not brave, and only try new authors with the help of trusted recommendations, or when I can try them as part of reviewing for the blog. So basically I found another author whose works I will run away screaming from.

The age difference between characters did not bother me at all. I mean, 18 and 28? I have read stories with much larger age difference in mm, and while I am usually not a fan of May

So this one was OK; I liked it well enough. It's a short read (only 41 pages) so it can easily be read in one sitting. There is plenty of angst, which is always good as far as I'm concerned. The characters, Seth and Cray were a bit two-dimensional but I think that was mostly due to the fact that this was a 41 page book. It's not like there was much time to develop their characters. The sex scenes were OK, but that was my biggest problem with the book. I know this is from the authors "First Time ...more
A little disappointing, but it was still good. Very fast paced, I just wish it was a little longer, especially the beginning as there is very little character development and the initial attraction wasn't completely convincing.
Loved this book so much!!!
Very intense, hot, fastpaced, with sympathetic characters, despite their flaws. I was holding my breath till the end.
Another confirmation that I like Eden Cole's stories.
GFY, instant love, one MC is a prick and an asshole, while the other is a kid with a 'bad' attitude. Not very good and the ending let to desire.
2.5 - Okay read, but really too short to enjoy it or the characters.

Staying for love

I fell in love with the characters in this book. They were scared to try something new, being together, because they were men. In the end that didn't matter only love did.

Okay I'm so not sure what rating to give the book. Yes I understand the intense emotions between the men and yes I too have had a relationship with a man much younger than myself, but we were both out of our teens. I'm having issues with the ten year gap between the men and nothing in Seth's behavior other than his amazing refractory period suggested he could maintain a relationship with Cray. Amazing sex yes, relationship not so much. So while the story was HOT, the believable factor was right ...more

A little too convenient, a little too forced, a lot too underdeveloped. There are very few exceptions to my dislike of the whole “straight person suddenly ‘turns‘ gay“ thing, and this is not one of them. The only reason this isn‘t a one is because it‘s hot.
A bit unsure about this one. While the story was enjoyable enough and the characters were okay, there wasn't really anything that truly stood out for me. It was very short and could have done with a lot of fleshing out to make it a much better book.
Fun short read... would have rated it higher if the story was longer. I would love to read a longer novel continuing the story of this couple.
I liked the story-line but it should have been much longer. There were too many gaps and the characters were not built up enough.
So-so short m/m romance about a straight guy whose foster sister dumps her 18-year old ex-stepson on him for a month...
There is no way I bought a HEA for this couple. The story was way too short to wrap up the subject matter.
A sweet short story. Wish it was longer...

Poorly written, no plot. Not even sexy. Bleh.
