This is a prequel book to a series. Dorothy and Alice are both grown-up women who are going to a homecoming of sorts. The two girls are est friends. Alice has a boyfriend in a band. Dorothy has not had good luck with guys. Her ex is none other than Tarzan which is where things begin to get unnecessarily unusual.
Dorothy takes a friend of hers to act as her 'fake' date, not knowing the guy has a major crush on her. Tarzan, who has split with Jane, wants Dorothy back (he left her for Jane). Franke

A quick little prequel on the Kindle freebies list. It was sort of a whimsical take on a variety of literary characters, but I think it was also a little camp for me - I think it could have been done with a bit more sophistication. Not sure I need to read the upcoming books.

The story just seemed to be getting started when it ended.

Enjoyable little short story that was great to spend an hour or so reading :)

Interesting concept, but unfortunately not enough concept to carry a novel. It would have made a good short story.

Standard love triangle, it's not a bad book, it really didn't feel that this was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
