The write up for this book expresses the love the author feels for the natural world, and the wonder towards what cats think as they look out the window watching the world go by. I found this book a bit slow through the first half but muddled on because I finally started becoming interested in what was going to happen to the the main character and his clan. I am sorry to say that the plot seemed weak and the writing style was less than it should be. This book is suppose to be for children in the...more

This book is the cat's meow!
something is in the forest and Fireheart doesn't know what it is. Bluestar thinks that it is windclan steeling prey and she declares a fight. Fireheart found a way to stop it. Bluestar thinks every one in the clan is a traiter except for Fireheart until he stoped the fight. Riverclan tries to take part of thunderclans territory but thunderclan wont allow it. they start to fight. During the fight Bluestar tells mistyfoot and stonefur the truth that they were her kits and she gave them to rivercla...more

Well, now I'm really starting to feel this series start to come into it's own. My main criticisms of this series still hold, It is predictable and the feral cat angle still feels very tacked on in places. However, as the characters progress even further, and the complexities of their relationships increase, the drama of the series becomes more compelling. For one thing, this book has the most character development of any of the first five, and we see the characters really growing and changing. A...more
I said I wasn't going to review any more books in this series because they're all the same-- so redundant and annoying. I have to comment, however, that these cats are SO STUPID. Perhaps this is a touch of realism, as cats are stupid. I mean, I love our cat, but she stands right under the garage door as it is coming down and wonders, "What's that sound?" day after day, year after year. She doesn't learn. The cats in this book know there is something evil in the forest. They smell a dog. But what...more

in this book Warriors by Erin Hunter shows a hard and working life of the thunder clan now. Tigerclaw now TigerStar has become shadow clan's leader and had what he deserved. CrookedStar, Riverclan's leader died from a ickness and Lepordfur riverclan's deputy is now Leopordstar.BlueStar thinks windclan was hunting in their territory after thunderclan was on fire and burnt down. Fireheart thinks TigerStar, and Tall star will set their clans and attack thunderclan all at once and Bluestar, thundercl...more
The penultimate book in the first series, and I'm a little saddened that I'm getting through these so fast. I almost gave this book 4 stars based on the last two chapters alone, where it really kicks off, but I don't feel as though that would be a good representation of the book. A Dangerous Path has a lot of problems, or at least things I didn't much care for. The major problem is the mystery of this new danger in the forest. Cats are plagued by dreams, bodies show up, strange scents, the prese...more
I very much enjoyed this book, like all the other books on this series. I would totally give it 5 stars if it weren't for the beginning and for Bluestar.
For me, the beginning was quite slow, so it took me awhile to really get into this book. But, I'm glad I persevered. From about the middle of the book till the end, I was hooked. There was so much action and interesting surprises.
The other I didn't like was Bluestar's attitude and they way she changed. After finding out about Tigerclaw's trea...more

I really feel like Children's books of this genre didn't used to be so terrifying and stressful. As a child (and obviously still presently) I always read a lot of animal-themed books, and while many of them were frightening and dealt with themes maybe not present in other children's books (or books encouraged for children) I feel like they were on a different emotional level than what's being put out today. I think what it comes down to is no children's author has successfully created the overwh...more
This book was in my opinion was not very entertaining just like the last one. I did not like the fact that Bluestar started to be nasty to her clan and the other leaders of the forest. I did not like Dog Pack and what happened to Brightpaw. I read the next one just to see what happened. I have to say that I think the next book was much better.

A Dangerous Path by Erin Hunter is the fifth installment in the warriors series. In this book,Bluestar is on her last life, and still going strong. Tigerclaw comes back and rises to power as new leader of ShadowClan. Fireheart still is in tears to the loss of his friend Graystripe, only to be consoled when he decides to come back into ThunderClan.
The connection I have to this book is being sad about a lost friend. I have had a number of friends move away. It is a very sad thing. It feels like...more

This book is very suspenceful and very exciteing. Something in the forest is stealing prey from Thunderclan. Bluestar thinks it is Windclan and they almost have a huge battle. Meanwhile Brightpaw and the other apprintises went off to find what was takeing there pray. Brightpaw survived but she lost an eye and a whole side of her face was scarred. Finished! Need book 6! and It was sad when bluestar died....and the packpack! kill kill! thing was scary....
One word: addicting...nowadays im trying to find out what makes certain hyped up books so appealing. For example who doesnt love survival, reality tv shows, and romance all thrown into the future in the form of the hunger games? But this series (consisting of about fourty billion books) is like a soap opera war but without the sadness bc cats' deaths arent as emotional as human deaths. I liked the idea didnt like Starclan though too eh prophetical and mediumyy and just all our too much astrology...more
Warrior Cats - Gefährliche Spuren ist der 5. Band der 1. Reihe. Leider gibt es...more

This is the fifth book in the Warriors series. It appears to be the first series of many about wild cats. With more than 300 pages, this is a great book for children to start expanding their reading comprehension abilities and challenging themselves with longer books.
I love books that get our girls excited to read and this series did that for our youngest. She is in love with this series! I like to read whatever they are reading, so we can chat about the stories and discuss the characters and p...more

Totally five stars! The best out of all the warriors so far that I've read. The story begins with Bluestar her insane self after Tigerclaw betrays the clan as Fireheart predicted. Once Bluestar is at peace again the clan has no time to be thankful due to the BloodClan battle that Tigerstar has wrongly arranged. The clans will have to uniteonce more to defeat the evil leaders. This book may not be as epic but touching and truely a warriors life. It shows that when then chips are done, all you hav...more
Wow. I keep thinking these books are going to get predictable and boring but they do not. I totally adore them. LOVE these books, but not much to review except commentary on things going on:
