"Taking care of business "

Barracudas in Prada. Stuffy board rooms. Raith Aldan is beyond tired of it all and ready to sell out and move on to something less stressful and much more interesting. Something that suits his dominant male traits, like a BDSM club in Tahoe.

He s only spoken to his new realtor on the phone, but she isn t the usual bend-over-backwards-to-please-him

It read more like a sketch for a story than a story itself. The hero and heroine meet, have sex and a few days later declare their love. The end. There's no real tension. There's minimal world-building. There's the occasional reference to them having actual conversations off screen, but since none of those details are shared with me, the reader, I don't get to know the characters really at all and therefore don't care that they get their HEA.

Also, sometimes the wording is awkward and almost con

This wasn’t your typical erotic romance story. Raith wants to open a BDSM club in Tahoe and has acquired Alexandra to find a suitable property for him. The road to love for Raith and Alexandra is an unconventional one. Alex doesn’t believe in getting involved with a man she’s working for and this time that man happens to be one who intrigues her and leaves her feeling a bit uneasy. The author does a top notch job of making Raith come across that way. Sometimes you’re not sure about him, other ti ...more
Raith Aldan is a man who knows what he wants. He built his career and now is ready to retire and venture into something new, like a BDSM club in Tahoe. Spending quite a bit of time on the phone with his realtor from Tahoe has Raith excited about meeting her, something in her voice and the ability to speak frankly with her him wondering if he is getting his hopes up for nothing.

Alexandra Aimon doesn't know what to make of Raith, on the phone he pushes her buttons and yet she is able to hide her a

This was OK. I mean I liked it, hence the rating, but I didn't love it. It was a sweet-ish story about a rich guy, heavy into BDSM, finding love with his real estate agent, who is a submissive, but never really knew it. Over the couple of weeks he was in town buying new property for his "retirement", they fall in love. It was definitely on the shorter side, which makes it difficult to develop characters, and I think maybe that's one area that this book was lacking. As another reviewer said, ther ...more

I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were interesting & likeable. The Alpha male was hot. The BDSM element wasn't too heavy. I liked that the author spent some time examining the psychology/emotions of a new submissive experiencing BDSM for the first time. I would have rated the story 4 stars if it had been longer. I enjoy a bit more background & story development. This was a quick fun/sexy read.

Loved this quick read! It was dirty, sweet, and well written. Both characters were likeable and there was no pointless drama! There were some mild bdsm scenes, but nothing too dark. Ill be reading more of Maggie Casper!!

Thanks for the recco Bookie Nookie!!

Um, I actually am on the line with this book. It was pretty typical, and a bit lame TO ME. So I want to give two stars, but really, there is NOTHING wrong with the book. Its good. It is JUST like TONS of others I have read as of late. Carbon copies.

For a short story, this was pretty good. If you like BDSM stories, this would be right up your alley.

I enjoyed reading the short story of two people who have flirted over the phone creating a professional relationship. I found the BDSM short romance a treat.

Maggie Casper's life could be called many things but boring isn't one of them. If asked, Maggie would tell you that blessed would more aptly describe her everyday existence.

Being loved by four gorgeous daughters should be enough to make anybody feel blessed. Add to that a bit of challenge, a lot of fun and an undeniably close circle of friends and family and you'd be walking in her shoes.
