Stormy Knight is the only daughter of a human and a vampire queen, and therefore a royal half-vampire. However, Stormy prefers to live as a human and to conceal her powers, much to her mother dismay. But eventually she has to master her powers as something nasty is brewing at the same time prom is coming.

I usually enjoy YA, but this story is more suited to 12-year-olds even if Stormy is 16. John Zakour is listed as an author and the reason why I bought this book, but I couldn't "find" his humour
