Great novel, which didn't come to me as that much of a surprise, because I have always praised the work of Ms.Nancy Rue since I've read some of the other Faith Girlz books,... I love her approach to young adult audiences and especially her nonfictional books. What I liked here was how well developed the main characters were (especially Sophie and how she believed even in such a hard situation). I liked the adult characters as well. I liked almost everything about this book except for the cover....more
I felt for Sophie as she was only trying her best but continued to feel misunderstood and left out. A good book that teaches a healthy way to respond in situations such as this.
