This is a good book for people (probably the very young) who have never set pencil to paper before but beyond that it is very basic.

It tackles the usual issues of moving from a stick figure to a finished piece of art but as with most of these books there are often huge leaps between the basic shape sections and a finished artwork which (as with most of these books) the author is too afraid to say that this is where the reader will simply have to be talented.

Good book for those interested in drawing superheroes. The number of example drawings is somewhat limited, but what it has is good and it contains good advice and direction for artists
