The story basically is about Susanna and Devlin. They were married nine years ago, but have only truly been with each other for one night. The reason for their separation; Susanna left Devlin after the first night. Devlin still holds anger over her betrayal, but they have not seen each other until Susanna is found flirting with the duke who Devlin's sister, Francesca, eyes to marry. This was the first book that I've read from this author and it definitely won't be my last. This book was just so good. I admit that when I found out that this book was a second chance at love story I was beyond giddy, those just happen to be my favorite. I believe that Nicola did it justice. I didn't want to put the book down. I was so engrossed with what was happening in the story.

This book, ‘Notorious’ by Nicola Cornick is meant to be highly arousing. It’s a very naughty book to read, but at the same time, it reminds me of reality where there’s a lot of people who break the hearts of others on purpose and using one another purely for their own benefit while putting up a very sweet facade on the outside.
