The Lost Locket is the first in a series by Marie that kind of takes off where Circe's Recruits and Dawn Endeavor series ended. Members of the PWP have move to Bend, OR and are keeping busy running a gym which covers as a base of operation for their new work as civilians. The gym also lets them work off their excess psychic energies.

Very interesting; the plot was kind of skimmed over [not shallow, just kind of ... avoided, for the most part - more on that], and I felt certain points could have been explained a lot more, but for the most part I had great fun reading "The Lost Locket."
Now, I like menage stories but it's so hard to find a good m/m/f that's just that - m/m/f. Not m/f/m where the woman gets all the bloody attention because to me, no matter how strong a woman is, that's just ridiculous. Trying to have a sexual re...more

This series is a spin-off of Marie Harte's previous Circe's Recruits and Dawn Endeavor series. While those characters were genetically enhanced to be stronger, faster, physical beings, the characters in this series were given serums to enhance their psychic powers.

The Lost Locket is the first book in the PowerUp! series written by Marie Harte.
A casualty of funding wars and an overzealous Defense Department trying to clean up its reputation, the Psychic Warfare Program (PWP) is scrapped not long after it starts. The psychics in the program are transferred to other agencies within the government, but a few decide to get out completely and set up on their own, knowing that the best way forward is keeping a low profile and living under the radar - so began th...more

I didn't realize until looking at other reviews that this is a 'spin off' of Dawn Endeavor/Circe's Recruits. That wasn't delved into too much just that a drug was used to enhance what they already had.
I liked Keegan and James relationship and camaraderie. While James has known for a while that he's into both sexes and that he's wanted Keegan for a while, Keegan on the other hand is in the dark until he finally notices a change in their relationship dynamic and his feelings toward the other male....more

A great example of what Marie Harte does so well. In so many menages the guys relationship with each other isn't given a chance to grow emotionally because they're so busy making sure the female is happy. In The Lost Locket the M/M relationship was given a chance to develop and work before they met the female. The fact that it was a different relationship that not everyone would accept was handled well and Keegan was actually given a chance to feel weird about the fact that he'd just had a sexua...more
I liked this more than I thought I would. Decent story, good smut. Explores new mm relationship and the feelings that go with it. It is a set-up for a continual series.
This is a great series! Keegan, Rory and James's story was funny, romantic, full of suspense! The banner between the 3 of Them had me laughing out loud! Their mission to find the lost locket, had me on the edge of my seat dying to know what was going to happen! I am looking forward to reading more of the series! I highly recommend this book!
This sets the premise for an interesting series. I liked it.

I enjoyed this story. It was really hot and steamy as most of Marie Harte's books are. The PWP guys have really interesting abilities and I'm looking forward to reading the stories of the other member of the team.
