It was a simple quick easy read,Daniel-Charlotte both love each other but Charlotte's father does'nt like Daniel cause he is a doctor's son so he sends him away to India and Charlotte thinks Daniel left her without a word and Daniel he writes to her but her father sees to it it never reaches Charlotte and when Charlotte discovers she is pregnant with their child she hires a bow street runner to find Daniel but again her father stops it so its of no use then Charlotte's mother taker her to Italy...more

Wavering a bit on the rate. I really enjoyed it when I finished, so gave it a 5, then thought about it some more and felt like I would have liked more, so gave it a four. Then realized it's not fair to mark down the story because of word length constrictions. So it's back up to a five. lol. Only so much can be done re character and plot development in a short read, yet there was a lot here without dragging the pace. Each of these stories can be read as a stand-alone novella, but they are linked by common characters. And I believe that you will enjoy them more if you read them in order.
