I don't honestly know what to say right now! I chose this book as part of my attempt to read mysteries set in all provinces and territories in Canada and I needed another Manitoba mystery after reading Alison Preston's "Rain Barrel Baby" which I didn't find to be the type of mystery I usually enjoy. I really wanted to like "Death In Cold Type" and fully expected to after having really liked all of Rick Mofina's series involving newspaper journalists but was somewhat disappointed. C.C. Benison is the pen name of Doug Whiteway, a journalist and author who lives in Winnipeg, Canada. He has a degree in journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa and has worked for the Winnipeg Tribune and the Winnipeg Free Press.
